(to) cause failure
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Jaḥeem.
(of) the Hellfire

22:52
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
ʹarsalnaa
We sent
مِن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
q̣ablika
before you
مِن
mir
any
رَّسُولٖ
rasooliñw
Messenger
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
a Prophet
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
but
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
تَمَنَّىٰٓ
tamannaaa
he recited
أَلۡقَى
ʹalq̣ash
threw
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan
فِيٓ
feee
in
أُمۡنِيَّتِهِۦ
ʹumniyyatih:
his recitation
فَيَنسَخُ
fayañsakhul
But Allah abolishes
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
But Allah abolishes
مَا
maa-
what
يُلۡقِي
yulq̣ish
throws
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُحۡكِمُ
yuḥkimul
Allah will establish
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will establish
ءَايَٰتِهِۦۗ
ʹAayaatih:
His Verses
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem:
All-Wise
٥٢
22:53
لِّيَجۡعَلَ
Liyajʻala
That He may make
مَا
maa-
what
يُلۡقِي
yulq̣ish
the Shaitaan throws
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan throws
فِتۡنَةٗ
fitnatal
a trial
لِّلَّذِينَ
lillaz̤̣eena
for those
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِم
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maraḍuñw
(is) a disease
وَٱلۡقَاسِيَةِ
walq̣aasiyati
and (are) hardened
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
q̣uloobuhum:
their hearts
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinnaz̤̣
And indeed
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeena
the wrongdoers
لَفِي
lafee
(are) surely in
شِقَاقِۭ
shiq̣aaq̣im
schism
بَعِيدٖ
baʻeed:
far
٥٣
22:54
وَلِيَعۡلَمَ
Wa-liyaʻlamal
And that may know
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
have been given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَ
ʻllma
the knowledge
أَنَّهُ
ʹannahul
that it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
(is) the truth
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
فَيُؤۡمِنُواْ
fayuʹminoo
and they believe
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
فَتُخۡبِتَ
fatukhbita
and may humbly submit
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to it
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
q̣uloobuhum:
their hearts
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinnal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَهَادِ
la-Haadil
(is) surely (the) Guide
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
believe
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
صِرَٰطٖ
Ṣiraaṭim
a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Mustaq̣eem.
Straight
٥٤
22:55
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَزَالُ
yazaalul
will cease
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
فِي
fee
(to be) in
مِرۡيَةٖ
miryatim
doubt
مِّنۡهُ
minhu
of it
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تَأۡتِيَهُمُ
taʹtiyahumus
comes to them
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
Saaʻatu
the Hour
بَغۡتَةً
bag̣tatan
suddenly
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ
yaʹtiyahum
comes to them
عَذَابُ
ʹaẓaabu
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٍ
Yawmin
(of) a Day
عَقِيمٍ
ʻAq̣eem.
barren

ٱلۡمُلۡكُ
ʹAl-Mulku
The Sovereignty
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
Yawmaʹiẓil
(on) that Day
لِّلَّهِ
lillaah:
(will be) for Allah
يَحۡكُمُ
yaḥkumu
He will judge
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum:
between them
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fallaẓeena
So those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
Ṣaaliḥaati
righteous deeds
فِي
fee
(will be) in
جَنَّٰتِ
Jannaatin
Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Naʻeem.
(of) Delight
٥٦
22:57
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
وَكَذَّبُواْ
wa-kaẓẓaboo
and denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
Our Verses
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٞ
ʻAẓaabum
(will be) a punishment
مُّهِينٞ
muheen.
humiliating
٥٧
22:58
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
هَاجَرُواْ
haajaroo
emigrated
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
قُتِلُوٓاْ
q̣utilooo
were killed
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
مَاتُواْ
maatoo
died
لَيَرۡزُقَنَّهُمُ
layarzuq̣annahumul
surely Allah will provide them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
surely Allah will provide them
رِزۡقًا
Rizq̣an
a provision
حَسَنٗاۚ
ḥasanaa:
good
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinnal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَهُوَ
la-Huwa
surely He
خَيۡرُ
Khayrur
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
raaziq̣een.
(of) the Providers
٥٨
22:59
لَيُدۡخِلَنَّهُم
Layudkhilannahum
Surely He will admit them
مُّدۡخَلٗا
mud-khalañy
(to) an entrance
يَرۡضَوۡنَهُۥۚ
yarḍawnah:
they will be pleased (with) it
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinnal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَعَلِيمٌ
laʻAleemun
surely (is) All-Knowing
حَلِيمٞ
Ḥaleem.
Most Forbearing
٥٩
22:60
۞ذَٰلِكَۖ
Ẓaalika.
That
وَمَنۡ
Wa-man
and whoever
عَاقَبَ
ʻaaq̣aba
has retaliated
بِمِثۡلِ
bimis̤li
with the like
مَا
maa-
(of) that
عُوقِبَ
ʻooq̣iba
he was made to suffer
بِهِۦ
bihee
by it
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
بُغِيَ
bug̣iya
he was oppressed
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
[on him]
لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ
layañṣurannahul
Allah will surely help him
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah:
Allah will surely help him
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَعَفُوٌّ
laʻAfuwwun
(is) surely Oft-Pardoning
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoor.
Oft-Forgiving
٦٠
22:61
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّ
biʹannal
(is) because
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُولِجُ
yoolijul
causes to enter
ٱلَّيۡلَ
layla
the night
فِي
fin
in (to)
ٱلنَّهَارِ
nahaari
the day
وَيُولِجُ
wa-yoolijun
and causes to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
nahaara
the day
فِي
fil
in (to)
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the night
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
Sameeʻum
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٞ
Baṣeer.
All-Seer
٦١
22:62
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That (is)
بِأَنَّ
biʹannal
because
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
(is) the Truth
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹanna
and that
مَا
maa-
what
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
they invoke
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
doonihee
besides Him
هُوَ
huwal
it
ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ
Baaṭilu
(is) the falsehood
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
And that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡعَلِيُّ
ʻAliyyul
(is) the Most High
ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Kabeer.
the Most Great
٦٢
22:63
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
sends down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
مَآءٗ
maaaʹañ
water
فَتُصۡبِحُ
fatuṣbiḥul
then becomes
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
ʹarḍu
the earth
مُخۡضَرَّةًۚ
mukhḍarrah?
green
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَطِيفٌ
Laṭeefun
(is) surely Subtle
خَبِيرٞ
Khabeer.
All-Aware
٦٣
22:64
لَّهُۥ
Lahoo
For Him
مَا
Maa-
(is) whatever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinnal
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَهُوَ
la-Huwal
surely He
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
G̣aniyyul
(is) Free of need
ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
Ḥameed.
the Praiseworthy

أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَخَّرَ
sakhkhara
(has) subjected
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مَّا
maa
what
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَٱلۡفُلۡكَ
wal-fulka
and the ships
تَجۡرِي
tajree
that sail
فِي
fil
through
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
baḥri
the sea
بِأَمۡرِهِۦ
biʹamrih?
by His Command
وَيُمۡسِكُ
Wa-yumsikus
And He withholds
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
samaaaʹa
the sky
أَن
ʹañ
lest
تَقَعَ
taq̣aʻa
it falls
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِإِذۡنِهِۦٓۚ
biʹiẓnih:
by His permission
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِٱلنَّاسِ
binnaasi
to mankind
لَرَءُوفٞ
la-Raʹoofur
(is) Full of Kindness
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٦٥
22:66
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَحۡيَاكُمۡ
ʹaḥyaakum
gave you life
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُمِيتُكُمۡ
yumeetukum
He will cause you to die
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُحۡيِيكُمۡۗ
yuḥyeekum:
He will give you life (again)
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
ʹiñsaana
man
لَكَفُورٞ
lakafoor!
(is) surely ungrateful
٦٦
22:67
لِّكُلِّ
Likulli
For every
أُمَّةٖ
ʹummatiñ
nation
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnaa
We have made
مَنسَكًا
mañsakan
rite(s)
هُمۡ
hum
they
نَاسِكُوهُۖ
naasikoohu
perform it
فَلَا
falaa
So let them not dispute with you
يُنَٰزِعُنَّكَ
yunaaziʻunnaka
So let them not dispute with you
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَمۡرِۚ
ʹamri
the matter
وَٱدۡعُ
wadʻu
but invite (them)
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّكَۖ
Rabbik;
your Lord
إِنَّكَ
ʹinnaka
Indeed you
لَعَلَىٰ
laʻalaa
(are) surely on
هُدٗى
Hudam
guidance
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Mustaq̣eem.
straight
٦٧
22:68
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
جَٰدَلُوكَ
jaadalooka
they argue (with) you
فَقُلِ
faq̣ulil
then say
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹAʻlamu
(is) most knowing
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
you do
٦٨
22:69
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
يَحۡكُمُ
yaḥkumu
will judge
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
فِيمَا
feema
concerning what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifoon.
differ
٦٩
22:70
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَعۡلَمۡ
taʻlam
you know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the heaven
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ?
and the earth
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
فِي
fee
(is) in
كِتَٰبٍۚ
Kitaab:
a Record
إِنَّ
ʹinna
indeed
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
عَلَى
ʻalal
(is) for
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
يَسِيرٞ
yaseer.
easy
٧٠
22:71
وَيَعۡبُدُونَ
Wa-yaʻbudoona
And they worship
مِن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
مَا
maa-
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُنَزِّلۡ
yunazzil
He (has) sent down
بِهِۦ
bihee
for it
سُلۡطَٰنٗا
sulṭaanañw
any authority
وَمَا
wamaa
and what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لَهُم
lahum̃
they have
بِهِۦ
bihee
of it
عِلۡمٞۗ
ʻilm:
any knowledge
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
liz̤̣z̤̣aalimeena
(will be) for the wrongdoers
مِن
min
any
نَّصِيرٖ
naṣeer.

22:72
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
تُتۡلَىٰ
tutlaa
are recited
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتُنَا
ʹAayaatunaa
Our Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٖ
Bayyinaatiñ
clear
تَعۡرِفُ
taʻrifu
you will recognize
فِي
fee
on
وُجُوهِ
wujoohil
(the) faces
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafarul
disbelieve
ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ
muñkar!
the denial
يَكَادُونَ
Yakaadoona
They almost
يَسۡطُونَ
yasṭoona
attack
بِٱلَّذِينَ
bil-laẓeena
those who
يَتۡلُونَ
yatloona
recite
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتِنَاۗ
ʹAayaatinaa.
Our Verses
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم
ʹa-faʹunabbiʹukum̃
Then shall I inform you
بِشَرّٖ
bisharrim
of worse
مِّن
miñ
than
ذَٰلِكُمُۚ
ẓaalikum?
that
ٱلنَّارُ
ʹAn-Naar!
The Fire
وَعَدَهَا
Waʻadahal
Allah (has) promised it
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah (has) promised it
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(for) those who
كَفَرُواْۖ
kafaroo!
disbelieve
وَبِئۡسَ
Wa-biʹsal
and wretched
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
maṣeer.
(is) the destination
٧٢

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O mankind
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
O mankind
ضُرِبَ
ḍuriba
Is set forth
مَثَلٞ
mas̤aluñ
an example
فَٱسۡتَمِعُواْ
fastamiʻoo
so listen
لَهُۥٓۚ
lah!
to it
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you invoke
مِن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
لَن
lañy
will never
يَخۡلُقُواْ
yakhluq̣oo
create
ذُبَابٗا
ẓubaabañw
a fly
وَلَوِ
walawij
even if
ٱجۡتَمَعُواْ
tamaʻoo
they gathered together
لَهُۥۖ
lah!
for it
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَسۡلُبۡهُمُ
yaslubhumuẓ
snatched away from them
ٱلذُّبَابُ
ẓubaabu
the fly
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹal
a thing
لَّا
laa
not
يَسۡتَنقِذُوهُ
yastañq̣iẓoohu
they (could) take it back
مِنۡهُۚ
minh.
from it
ضَعُفَ
Ḍaʻufaṭ
So weak
ٱلطَّالِبُ
ṭaalibu
(are) the seeker
وَٱلۡمَطۡلُوبُ
wal-maṭloob!
and the one who is sought
٧٣
22:74
مَا
Maa-
Not
قَدَرُواْ
q̣adarul
they (have) estimated
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(with) due
قَدۡرِهِۦٓۚ
q̣adrih:
[His] estimation
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَقَوِيٌّ
la-Q̣awiyyun
(is) surely All-Strong
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeez!
All-Mighty
٧٤
22:75
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
يَصۡطَفِي
yasṭafee
chooses
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
malaaaʹikati
the Angels
رُسُلٗا
Rusulañw
Messengers
وَمِنَ
Waminan
and from
ٱلنَّاسِۚ
naas:
the mankind
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
Sameeʻum
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٞ
Baṣeer.
All-Seer
٧٥
