وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aalut
And they say
ٱتَّخَذَ
takhaẓar
Has taken
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
Raḥmaanu
the Most Gracious
وَلَدٗاۗ
waladañ
a son
سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۚ
Subḥaanah!
Glorified is He
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
عِبَادٞ
ʻibaadum
(they are) slaves
مُّكۡرَمُونَ
mukramoon.
honored
٢٦
21:27
لَا
Laa-
Not
يَسۡبِقُونَهُۥ
yasbiq̣oonahoo
they (can) precede Him
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bil-q̣awli
in word
وَهُم
wa-hum̃
and they
بِأَمۡرِهِۦ
biʹamrihee
by His command
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
act
٢٧
21:28
يَعۡلَمُ
Yaʻlamu
He knows
مَا
maa-
what
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(is) before them
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
ʹaydeehim
(is) before them
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
خَلۡفَهُمۡ
khalfahum
(is) behind them
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَشۡفَعُونَ
yashfaʻoona
they (can) intercede
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
لِمَنِ
limanir
for whom
ٱرۡتَضَىٰ
taḍaa
He approves
وَهُم
wa-hum
And they
مِّنۡ
min
from
خَشۡيَتِهِۦ
khashyatihee
fear of Him
مُشۡفِقُونَ
mushfiq̣oon.
stand in awe
٢٨
21:29
۞وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَقُلۡ
yaq̣ul
says
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
إِنِّيٓ
ʹinneee
Indeed I am
إِلَٰهٞ
ʹilaahum
a god
مِّن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
doonihee
besides Him
فَذَٰلِكَ
faẓaalika
Then that
نَجۡزِيهِ
najzeehi
We will recompense
جَهَنَّمَۚ
Jahannam:
(with) Hell
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
نَجۡزِي
najziz̤̣
We recompense
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
the wrongdoers
٢٩
21:30
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَرَ
yaral
see
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieved
أَنَّ
ʹannas
that
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
كَانَتَا
kaanataa
were
رَتۡقٗا
ratq̣añ
a joined entity
فَفَتَقۡنَٰهُمَاۖ
fafataq̣naahumaa?
then We parted them
وَجَعَلۡنَا
Wa-jaʻalnaa
and We made
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَآءِ
maaaʹi
[the] water
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
living thing
حَيٍّۚ
ḥayy.
living thing
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
Then will not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon?
they believe
٣٠
21:31
وَجَعَلۡنَا
Wa-jaʻalnaa
And We (have) placed
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
رَوَٰسِيَ
rawaasiya
firmly set mountains
أَن
ʹañ
lest
تَمِيدَ
tameeda
it (should) shake
بِهِمۡ
bihim
with them
وَجَعَلۡنَا
wa-jaʻalnaa
and We made
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
فِجَاجٗا
fijaajañ
broad passes
سُبُلٗا
subulal
(as) ways
لَّعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtadoon.
(be) guided
٣١
21:32
وَجَعَلۡنَا
Wa-jaʻalnas
And We made
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
samaaaʹa
the sky
سَقۡفٗا
saq̣fam
a roof
مَّحۡفُوظٗاۖ
maḥfooz̤̣aa:
protected
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
But they
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
ءَايَٰتِهَا
ʹAayaatihaa
its Signs
مُعۡرِضُونَ
muʻriḍoon!
turn away
٣٢
21:33
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣al
created
ٱلَّيۡلَ
Layla
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wan-Nahaara
and the day
وَٱلشَّمۡسَ
washshamsa
and the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ
wal-q̣amar:
and the moon
كُلّٞ
kulluñ
each
فِي
fee
in
فَلَكٖ
falakiñy
an orbit
يَسۡبَحُونَ
yasbaḥoon.
floating
٣٣
21:34
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnaa
We made
لِبَشَرٖ
libasharim
for any man
مِّن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
q̣ablikal
before you
ٱلۡخُلۡدَۖ
khuld:
[the] immortality
أَفَإِيْن
ʹafa
so if
مِّتَّ
ʹimmitta
you die
فَهُمُ
fahumul
then (would) they
ٱلۡخَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon?
live forever
٣٤
21:35
كُلُّ
Kullu
Every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsiñ
soul
ذَآئِقَةُ
ẓaaaʹiq̣atul
(will) taste
ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ
mawt:
[the] death
وَنَبۡلُوكُم
wa-nablookum̃
And We test you
بِٱلشَّرِّ
bishsharri
with [the] bad
وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ
walkhayri
and [the] good
فِتۡنَةٗۖ
fitnah.
(as) a trial
وَإِلَيۡنَا
Wa-ʹilaynaa
and to Us
تُرۡجَعُونَ
turjaʻoon.
you will be returned

21:36
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
رَءَاكَ
raʹaakal
they see you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieve
إِن
ʹiñy
not
يَتَّخِذُونَكَ
yattakhiẓoonaka
they take you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
هُزُوًا
huzuwaa.
(in) ridicule
أَهَٰذَا
ʹAhaaẓal
Is this
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the one who
يَذۡكُرُ
yaẓkuru
mentions
ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ
ʹaalihatakum?
your gods
وَهُم
Wa-hum̃
And they
بِذِكۡرِ
biẓikrir
at (the) mention
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
Raḥmaani
(of) the Most Gracious
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
كَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon!
(are) disbelievers
٣٦
21:37
خُلِقَ
Khuliq̣al
Is created
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
ʹiñsaanu
the man
مِنۡ
min
of
عَجَلٖۚ
ʻajal:
haste
سَأُوْرِيكُمۡ
saʹureekum
I will show you
ءَايَٰتِي
ʹAayaatee
My Signs
فَلَا
falaa
so (do) not
تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ
tastaʻjiloon!
ask Me to hasten
٣٧
21:38
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
مَتَىٰ
mataa
When (will be fulfilled)
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
this
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
waʻdu
promise
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een?
truthful
٣٨
21:39
لَوۡ
Law
If
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamul
knew
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
حِينَ
ḥeena
(the) time
لَا
laa-
(when) not
يَكُفُّونَ
yakuffoona
they will avert
عَن
ʻañw
from
وُجُوهِهِمُ
wujoohihimun
their faces
ٱلنَّارَ
Naara
the Fire
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
عَن
ʻañ
from
ظُهُورِهِمۡ
z̤̣uhoorihim
their backs
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنصَرُونَ
yuñṣaroon!
will be helped
٣٩
21:40
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
تَأۡتِيهِم
taʹteehim̃
it will come to them
بَغۡتَةٗ
bag̣tatañ
unexpectedly
فَتَبۡهَتُهُمۡ
fatabhatuhum
and bewilder them
فَلَا
falaa
then not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoona
they will be able
رَدَّهَا
raddahaa
to repel it
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنظَرُونَ
yuñz̤̣aroon.
will be given respite
٤٠
21:41
وَلَقَدِ
Wa-laq̣adis
And verily
ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ
tuhziʹa
were mocked
بِرُسُلٖ
birusulim
Messengers
مِّن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
q̣ablika
before you
فَحَاقَ
faḥaaq̣a
then surrounded
بِٱلَّذِينَ
billaẓeena
those who
سَخِرُواْ
sakhiroo
mocked
مِنۡهُم
minhum
from them
مَّا
maa
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used
بِهِۦ
bihee
at it
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziʹoon.
(to) mock
٤١
21:42
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَن
mañy
Who
يَكۡلَؤُكُم
yaklaʹukum̃
(can) protect you
بِٱلَّيۡلِ
billayli
in the night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
wannahaari
and the day
مِنَ
minar
from
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ
Raḥmaan?
the Most Gracious
بَلۡ
Bal
Yet
هُمۡ
hum
they
عَن
ʻañ
from
ذِكۡرِ
ẓikri
(the) remembrance
رَبِّهِم
Rabbihim
(of) their Lord
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
muʻriḍoon.
turn away
٤٢
21:43
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
have they
ءَالِهَةٞ
ʹaalihatuñ
gods
تَمۡنَعُهُم
tamnaʻuhum
(to) defend them
مِّن
miñ
from
دُونِنَاۚ
dooninaa?
Us
لَا
Laa-
Not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoona
they are able
نَصۡرَ
naṣra
(to) help
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُم
hum
they
مِّنَّا
minnaa
from Us
يُصۡحَبُونَ
yuṣ-ḥaboon.
can be protected
٤٣
21:44
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
مَتَّعۡنَا
mattaʻnaa
We gave provision
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
(to) these
وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ
wa-ʹaabaaaʹahum
and their fathers
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
طَالَ
ṭaala
grew long
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
for them
ٱلۡعُمُرُۗ
ʻumur;
the life
أَفَلَا
ʹafalaa
Then do not
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawna
they see
أَنَّا
ʹannaa
that We
نَأۡتِي
naʹtil
We come
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
ʹarḍa
(to) the land
نَنقُصُهَا
nañq̣uṣuhaa
We reduce it
مِنۡ
min
from
أَطۡرَافِهَآۚ
ʹaṭraafihaa?
its borders
أَفَهُمُ
ʹAfahumul
So is (it) they
ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
g̣aaliboon?
(who will be) overcoming

21:45
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَآ
ʹinnamaaa
Only
أُنذِرُكُم
ʹuñẓirukum̃
I warn you
بِٱلۡوَحۡيِۚ
bilwaḥyi
by the revelation
وَلَا
wa-laa
But not
يَسۡمَعُ
yasmaʻuṣ
hear
ٱلصُّمُّ
ṣummud
the deaf
ٱلدُّعَآءَ
duʻaaaʹa
the call
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
مَا
maa-
when
يُنذَرُونَ
yuñẓaroon.
they are warned
٤٥
21:46
وَلَئِن
Wa-laʹim
And if
مَّسَّتۡهُمۡ
massathum
touches them
نَفۡحَةٞ
nafḥatum
a whiff
مِّنۡ
min
of
عَذَابِ
ʻAẓaabi
(the) punishment
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaq̣oolunna
surely they will say
يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ
yaawaylanaaa
O woe to us
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
كُنَّا
kunnaa
[we] were
ظَٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen!
wrongdoers
٤٦
21:47
وَنَضَعُ
Wa-naḍaʻul
And We set
ٱلۡمَوَٰزِينَ
mawaazeenal
the scales
ٱلۡقِسۡطَ
q̣isṭa
(of) the justice
لِيَوۡمِ
li-Yawmil
for (the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
فَلَا
falaa
so not
تُظۡلَمُ
tuz̤̣lamu
will be wronged
نَفۡسٞ
nafsuñ
any soul
شَيۡـٔٗاۖ
shayʹaa.
(in) anything
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
كَانَ
kaana
(there) be
مِثۡقَالَ
mis̤q̣aala
weight
حَبَّةٖ
ḥabbatim
(of) a seed
مِّنۡ
min
of
خَرۡدَلٍ
khardalin
a mustard
أَتَيۡنَا
ʹataynaa
We will bring
بِهَاۗ
bihaa:
[with] it
وَكَفَىٰ
wa-kafaa
And sufficient
بِنَا
binaa
(are) We
حَٰسِبِينَ
ḥaasibeen.
(as) Reckoners
٤٧
21:48
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
ءَاتَيۡنَا
ʹaataynaa
We gave
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
وَهَٰرُونَ
wa-Haaroonal
and Harun
ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ
Furq̣aana
the Criterion
وَضِيَآءٗ
wa-Ḍiyaaaʹañw
and a light
وَذِكۡرٗا
wa-Ẓikral
and a Reminder
لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
lil-Muttaq̣een,
for the righteous
٤٨
21:49
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
yakhshawna
fear
رَبَّهُم
Rabbahum̃
their Lord
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ
bilg̣aybi
in the unseen
وَهُم
wa-hum
and they
مِّنَ
minas
of
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
Saaʻati
the Hour
مُشۡفِقُونَ
mushfiq̣oon.
(are) afraid
٤٩
21:50
وَهَٰذَا
Wa-haaẓaa
And this
ذِكۡرٞ
Ẓikrum
(is) a Reminder
مُّبَارَكٌ
Mubaarakun
blessed
أَنزَلۡنَٰهُۚ
ʹañzalnaah:
which We (have) revealed
أَفَأَنتُمۡ
ʹa-faʹañtum
Then are you
لَهُۥ
lahoo
of it
مُنكِرُونَ
muñkiroon.
