عَدۡنٖ

(of) Eden
تَجۡرِي

flows
مِن

تَحۡتِهَا

underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
abiding forever
فِيهَاۚ
feehaa:
in it
وَذَٰلِكَ
waẓaalika
And that
جَزَآءُ
jazaaaʹu
(is) the reward
مَن
mañ
(for him) who
تَزَكَّىٰ
tazakkaa.
purifies himself

20:77
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
ʹawḥaynaaa
We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
أَسۡرِ
ʹasri
Travel by night
بِعِبَادِي
biʻibaadee
with My slaves
فَٱضۡرِبۡ
faḍrib
and strike
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
طَرِيقٗا
ṭareeq̣añ
a path
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
baḥri
the sea
يَبَسٗا
yabasal
dry
لَّا
laa
not
تَخَٰفُ
takhaafu
fearing
دَرَكٗا
darakañw
to be overtaken
وَلَا
walaa
and not
تَخۡشَىٰ
takhshaa.
being afraid
٧٧
20:78
فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ
Faʹatbaʻahum
Then followed them
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun
بِجُنُودِهِۦ
bijunoodihee
with his forces
فَغَشِيَهُم
fag̣ashiyahum
but covered them
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡيَمِّ
yammi
the sea
مَا
maa-
what
غَشِيَهُمۡ
g̣ashiyahum.
covered them
٧٨
20:79
وَأَضَلَّ
Wa-ʹaḍalla
And led astray
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun
قَوۡمَهُۥ
q̣awmahoo
his people
وَمَا
wa-maa
and (did) not
هَدَىٰ
hadaa.
guide them
٧٩
20:80
يَٰبَنِيٓ
Yaa-Baneee
O Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
O Children of Israel
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Verily
أَنجَيۡنَٰكُم
ʹañjaynaakum
We delivered you
مِّنۡ
min
from
عَدُوِّكُمۡ
ʻaduwwikum
your enemy
وَوَٰعَدۡنَٰكُمۡ
wa-waaʻadnaakum
and We made a covenant with you
جَانِبَ
jaanibaṭ
on (the) side
ٱلطُّورِ
Ṭooril
(of) the Mount
ٱلۡأَيۡمَنَ
ʹaymana
the right
وَنَزَّلۡنَا
wa-nazzalnaa
and We sent down
عَلَيۡكُمُ
ʻalaykumul
to you
ٱلۡمَنَّ
Manna
the Manna
وَٱلسَّلۡوَىٰ
was-Salwaa:
and the quails
٨٠
20:81
كُلُواْ
Kuloo
Eat
مِن
miñ
of
طَيِّبَٰتِ
ṭayyibaati
(the) good things
مَا
maa-
which
رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡ
razaq̣naakum
We have provided you
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَطۡغَوۡاْ
taṭg̣aw
transgress
فِيهِ
feehi
therein
فَيَحِلَّ
fayaḥilla
lest should descend
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
غَضَبِيۖ
g̣aḍabee:
My Anger
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And whoever
يَحۡلِلۡ
yaḥlil
on whom descends
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on whom descends
غَضَبِي
g̣aḍabee
My Anger
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
indeed
هَوَىٰ
hawaa!
he (has) perished
٨١
20:82
وَإِنِّي
Wa-ʹinnee
But indeed I Am
لَغَفَّارٞ
la-G̣affaarul
the Perpetual Forgiver
لِّمَن
limañ
of whoever
تَابَ
taaba
repents
وَءَامَنَ
wa-ʹaamana
and believes
وَعَمِلَ
wa-ʻamila
and does
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
righteous (deeds)
ثُمَّ
s̤ummah
then
ٱهۡتَدَىٰ
tadaa
remains guided
٨٢
20:83
۞وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And what
أَعۡجَلَكَ
ʹaʻjalaka
made you hasten
عَن
ʻañ
from
قَوۡمِكَ
q̣awmika
your people
يَٰمُوسَىٰ
Yaa-Moosaa?
O Musa
٨٣
20:84
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
هُمۡ
hum
They
أُوْلَآءِ
ʹulaaaʹi
(are) close
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
upon
أَثَرِي
ʹas̤aree
my tracks
وَعَجِلۡتُ
wa-ʻajiltu
and I hastened
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
رَبِّ
Rabbi
my Lord
لِتَرۡضَىٰ
litarḍaa.
that You be pleased
٨٤
20:85
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَإِنَّا
faʹinnaa
But indeed We
قَدۡ
q̣ad
[verily]
فَتَنَّا
fatannaa
We (have) tried
قَوۡمَكَ
q̣awmaka
your people
مِنۢ
mim
after you
بَعۡدِكَ
baʻdika
after you
وَأَضَلَّهُمُ
waʹaḍallahumus
and has led them astray
ٱلسَّامِرِيُّ
Saamiriyy.

٨٥
20:86
فَرَجَعَ
farajaʻa
Then Musa returned
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Then Musa returned
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
قَوۡمِهِۦ
q̣awmihee
his people
غَضۡبَٰنَ
g̣aḍbaana
angry
أَسِفٗاۚ
ʹasifaa.
(and) sorrowful
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
Yaa-q̣awmi
O my people
أَلَمۡ
ʹalam
Did not
يَعِدۡكُمۡ
yaʻidkum
promise you
رَبُّكُمۡ
Rabbukum
your Lord
وَعۡدًا
waʻdan
a promise
حَسَنًاۚ
ḥasanaa?
good
أَفَطَالَ
ʹAfaṭaala
Then did seem long
عَلَيۡكُمُ
ʻalaykumul
to you
ٱلۡعَهۡدُ
ʻahdu
the promise
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
أَرَدتُّمۡ
ʹarattum
did you desire
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَحِلَّ
yaḥilla
descend
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
غَضَبٞ
g̣aḍabum
(the) Anger
مِّن
mir
of
رَّبِّكُمۡ
Rabbikum
your Lord
فَأَخۡلَفۡتُم
faʹakhlaftum
so you broke
مَّوۡعِدِي
mawʻidee?
(the) promise to me
٨٦
20:87
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
مَآ
maaa
Not
أَخۡلَفۡنَا
ʹakhlafnaa
we broke
مَوۡعِدَكَ
mawʻidaka
promise to you
بِمَلۡكِنَا
bimalkinaa
by our will
وَلَٰكِنَّا
wa-laakinnaa
but we
حُمِّلۡنَآ
ḥummilnaaa
[we] were made to carry
أَوۡزَارٗا
ʹawzaaram
burdens
مِّن
miñ
from
زِينَةِ
zeenatil
ornaments
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmi
(of) the people
فَقَذَفۡنَٰهَا
faq̣aẓafnaahaa
so we threw them
فَكَذَٰلِكَ
fakaẓaalika
and thus
أَلۡقَى
ʹalq̣as
threw
ٱلسَّامِرِيُّ
Saamiriyy.

20:88
فَأَخۡرَجَ
Faʹakhraja
Then he brought forth
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عِجۡلٗا
ʻijlañ
a calf's
جَسَدٗا
jasadal
body
لَّهُۥ
lahoo
it had
خُوَارٞ
khuwaaruñ
a lowing sound
فَقَالُواْ
faq̣aaloo
and they said
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
This
إِلَٰهُكُمۡ
ʹilaahukum
(is) your god
وَإِلَٰهُ
wa-ʹilaahu
and the god
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa,
(of) Musa
فَنَسِيَ
fanasee!
but he forgot
٨٨
20:89
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
Then did not
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawna
they see
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
يَرۡجِعُ
yarjiʻu
it (could) return
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
to them
قَوۡلٗا
q̣awlaa:
a word
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يَمۡلِكُ
yamliku
possess
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
ضَرّٗا
ḍarrañw
any harm
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَفۡعٗا
nafʻaa.
any benefit
٨٩
20:90
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
قَالَ
q̣aala
(had) said
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
هَٰرُونُ
Haaroonu
Harun
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa-q̣awmi
O my people
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
فُتِنتُم
futiñtum
you are being tested
بِهِۦۖ
bih:
by it
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinna
and indeed
رَبَّكُمُ
Rabbakumur
your Lord
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
Raḥmaanu
(is) the Most Gracious
فَٱتَّبِعُونِي
fattabiʻoonee
so follow me
وَأَطِيعُوٓاْ
wa-ʹaṭeeʻooo
and obey
أَمۡرِي
ʹamree.
my order
٩٠
20:91
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
لَن
lan
Never
نَّبۡرَحَ
nabraḥa
we will cease
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
being devoted to it
عَٰكِفِينَ
ʻaakifeena
being devoted to it
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَرۡجِعَ
yarjiʻa
returns
إِلَيۡنَا
ʹilaynaa
to us
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa.
Musa
٩١
20:92
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
يَٰهَٰرُونُ
yaa-Haaroonu
O Harun
مَا
maa
What
مَنَعَكَ
manaʻaka
prevented you
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ
raʹaytahum
you saw them
ضَلُّوٓاْ
ḍalloo.
going astray
٩٢
20:93
أَلَّا
ʹAllaa
That not
تَتَّبِعَنِۖ
tattabiʻan?
you follow me
أَفَعَصَيۡتَ
ʹAfaʻaṣayta
Then have you disobeyed
أَمۡرِي
ʹamree?
my order
٩٣
20:94
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
يَبۡنَؤُمَّ
yabnaʹumma
O son of my mother
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَأۡخُذۡ
taʹkhuẓ
seize (me)
بِلِحۡيَتِي
biliḥyatee
by my beard
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
بِرَأۡسِيٓۖ
biraʹsee!
by my head
إِنِّي
ʹInnee
Indeed I
خَشِيتُ
khasheetu
[I] feared
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقُولَ
taq̣oola
you would say
فَرَّقۡتَ
farraq̣ta
You caused division
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(the) Children of Israel
وَلَمۡ
wa-lam
and not
تَرۡقُبۡ
tarq̣ub
you respect
قَوۡلِي
q̣awlee!
my word
٩٤
20:95
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَمَا
famaa
Then what
خَطۡبُكَ
khaṭbuka
(is) your case
يَٰسَٰمِرِيُّ
Yaa-Saamiriyy?
O Samiri
٩٥
20:96
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
بَصُرۡتُ
baṣurtu
I perceived
بِمَا
bimaa
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَبۡصُرُواْ
yabṣuroo
they perceive
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
فَقَبَضۡتُ
faq̣abaḍtu
so I took
قَبۡضَةٗ
q̣abḍatam
a handful
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَثَرِ
ʹas̤arir
(the) track
ٱلرَّسُولِ
Rasooli
(of) the Messenger
فَنَبَذۡتُهَا
fanabaẓtuhaa
then threw it
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wa-kaẓaalika
and thus
سَوَّلَتۡ
sawwalat
suggested
لِي
lee
to me
نَفۡسِي
nafsee.
my soul
٩٦
20:97
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَٱذۡهَبۡ
faẓhab
Then go
فَإِنَّ
faʹinna
And indeed
لَكَ
laka
for you
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaati
the life
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقُولَ
taq̣oola
you will say
لَا
Laa-
(Do) not
مِسَاسَۖ
Misaas˺:
touch
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinna
And indeed
لَكَ
laka
for you
مَوۡعِدٗا
mawʻidal
(is) an appointment
لَّن
lañ
never
تُخۡلَفَهُۥۖ
tukhlafah:
you will fail to (keep) it
وَٱنظُرۡ
wañz̤̣ur
And look
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
at
إِلَٰهِكَ
ʹilaahikal
your god
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
that which
ظَلۡتَ
z̤̣alta
you have remained
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
to it
عَاكِفٗاۖ
ʻaakifaa:
devoted
لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ
lanuḥarriq̣annahoo
Surely we will burn it
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ
lanañsifannahoo
certainly we will scatter it
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡيَمِّ
yammi
the sea
نَسۡفًا
nasfaa!
(in) particles
٩٧
20:98
إِنَّمَآ
ʹInnamaaa
Only
إِلَٰهُكُمُ
ʹIlaahukumul
your God
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One
لَآ
Laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
هُوَۚ
Hoo:
He
وَسِعَ
wasiʻa
He has encompassed
كُلَّ
kulla
all
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
things
عِلۡمٗا
ʻilmaa.
(in) knowledge

كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
نَقُصُّ
naq̣uṣṣu
We relate
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
to you
مِنۡ
min
from
أَنۢبَآءِ
ʹambaaaʹi
(the) news
مَا
maa-
(of) what
قَدۡ
q̣ad
has preceded
سَبَقَۚ
sabaq̣:
has preceded
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
And certainly
ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ
ʹaataynaaka
We have given you
مِن
mil
from
لَّدُنَّا
ladunnaa
Us
ذِكۡرٗا
Ẓikraa.
a Reminder
٩٩
20:100
مَّنۡ
Man
Whoever
أَعۡرَضَ
ʹaʻraḍa
turns away
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from it
فَإِنَّهُۥ
faʹinnahoo
then indeed he
يَحۡمِلُ
yaḥmilu
will bear
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) Resurrection
وِزۡرًا
wizraa;
a burden
