good
وَقِنَا
wa-q̣inaa
and save us
عَذَابَ
ʻaẓaaban
(from the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
Naar.
(of) the Fire

2:202
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
نَصِيبٞ
naṣeebum
(is) a share
مِّمَّا
mimmaa
of what
كَسَبُواْۚ
kasaboo:
they earned
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-laahu
and Allah
سَرِيعُ
Sareeʻul
(is) swift
ٱلۡحِسَابِ
ḥisaab.
(in taking) account

۞وَٱذۡكُرُواْ
Waẓkurul
And remember
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
فِيٓ
feee
during
أَيَّامٖ
ʹayyaamim
days
مَّعۡدُودَٰتٖۚ
maʻdoodaat.
numbered
فَمَن
Famañ
Then (he) who
تَعَجَّلَ
taʻajjala
hurries
فِي
fee
in
يَوۡمَيۡنِ
yawmayni
two days
فَلَآ
falaaa
then no
إِثۡمَ
ʹis̤ma
sin
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayh.
upon him
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
and whoever
تَأَخَّرَ
taʹakhkhara
delays
فَلَآ
falaaa
then no
إِثۡمَ
ʹis̤ma
sin
عَلَيۡهِۖ
ʻalayhi
upon him
لِمَنِ
limanit
for (the one) who
ٱتَّقَىٰۗ
taq̣aa.
fears
وَٱتَّقُواْ
Wattaq̣ul
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
waʻlamooo
and know
أَنَّكُمۡ
ʹannakum
that you
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
unto Him
تُحۡشَرُونَ
tuḥsharoon.
will be gathered
٢٠٣
2:204
وَمِنَ
Wa-minan
And of
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the people
مَن
mañy
(is the one) who
يُعۡجِبُكَ
yuʻjibuka
pleases you
قَوۡلُهُۥ
q̣awluhoo
(with) his speech
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَيُشۡهِدُ
wa-yushhidul
and he calls to witness
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
مَا
maa-
what
فِي
fee
(is) in
قَلۡبِهِۦ
q̣albihee
his heart
وَهُوَ
wa-huwa
and he
أَلَدُّ
ʹaladdul
(is) the most quarrelsome
ٱلۡخِصَامِ
khis̤aam.
(of) opponents
٢٠٤
2:205
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
تَوَلَّىٰ
tawallaa
he turns away
سَعَىٰ
saʻaa
he strives
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
لِيُفۡسِدَ
liyufsida
to spread corruption
فِيهَا
fihaa
[in it]
وَيُهۡلِكَ
wa-yuhlikal
and destroys
ٱلۡحَرۡثَ
ḥars̤a
the crops
وَٱلنَّسۡلَۚ
wannasl.
and progeny
وَٱللَّهُ
Wal-laahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
love
ٱلۡفَسَادَ
fasaad.
[the] corruption
٢٠٥
2:206
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it is said
لَهُ
lahut
to him
ٱتَّقِ
taq̣il
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
أَخَذَتۡهُ
ʹakhaẓathul
takes him
ٱلۡعِزَّةُ
ʻizzatu
(his) pride
بِٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ
bil-ʹis̤mi
to [the] sins
فَحَسۡبُهُۥ
faḥasbuhoo
Then enough for him
جَهَنَّمُۖ
Jahannam;
(is) Hell
وَلَبِئۡسَ
wa-labiʹsal
[and] surely an evil
ٱلۡمِهَادُ
mihaad!
[the] resting-place
٢٠٦
2:207
وَمِنَ
Wa-minan
And of
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the people
مَن
mañy
(is the one) who
يَشۡرِي
yashree
sells
نَفۡسَهُ
nafsahub
his own self
ٱبۡتِغَآءَ
tig̣aaaʹa
seeking
مَرۡضَاتِ
Marḍaatil
pleasure
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
رَءُوفُۢ
Raʹoofum
(is) full of Kindness
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
bilʻibaad.
to His servants
٢٠٧
2:208
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanud
believe[d]
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
khuloo
Enter
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسِّلۡمِ
Silmi
Islam
كَآفَّةٗ
kaaaffah;
completely
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَتَّبِعُواْ
tattabiʻoo
follow
خُطُوَٰتِ
khuṭuwaatish
footsteps
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ
Shaytaan.
(of) the Shaitaan
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed he
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is) for you
عَدُوّٞ
ʻaduwwum
an enemy
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen.

2:209
فَإِن
Faʹiñ
Then if
زَلَلۡتُم
zalaltum
you slip
مِّنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
جَآءَتۡكُمُ
jaaaʹatkumul
came to you
ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُ
Bayyinaatu
(from) the clear proofs
فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
faʻlamooo
then know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٌ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٢٠٩
2:210
هَلۡ
Hal
Are
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
they waiting
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
[except]
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَأۡتِيَهُمُ
yaʹtiyahumul
comes to them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
فِي
fee
in
ظُلَلٖ
z̤̣ulalim
(the) shadows
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡغَمَامِ
g̣amaami
[the] clouds
وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
walmalaaaʹikatu
and the Angels
وَقُضِيَ
wa-q̣uḍiyal
and is decreed
ٱلۡأَمۡرُۚ
ʹamr?
the matter
وَإِلَى
Wa-ʹilal
And to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
تُرۡجَعُ
turjaʻul
return
ٱلۡأُمُورُ
ʹumoor.
(all) the matters

2:211
سَلۡ
Sal
Ask
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
كَمۡ
kam
how many
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم
ʹaataynaahum
We gave them
مِّنۡ
min
of
ءَايَةِۭ
ʹAayatim
(the) Sign(s)
بَيِّنَةٖۗ
bayyinah.
clear
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يُبَدِّلۡ
yubaddil
changes
نِعۡمَةَ
niʻmatal
Favor
ٱللَّهِ
laa-hi
(of) Allah
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
جَآءَتۡهُ
jaaaʹathu
it (has) come to him
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
شَدِيدُ
Shadeedul
(is) severe
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
ʻiq̣aab.
in [the] chastising
٢١١
2:212
زُيِّنَ
Zuyyina
Beautified
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeena
for those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafarul
disbelieve[d]
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
ḥayaatud
(is) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَيَسۡخَرُونَ
wa-yas-kharoona
and they ridicule
مِنَ
minal
[of]
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْۘ
ʹaamanoo.
believe[d]
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeenat
And those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
taq̣aw
fear (Allah)
فَوۡقَهُمۡ
fawq̣ahum
(they will be) above them
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ
Q̣iyaamah.
(of) Resurrection
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَرۡزُقُ
yarzuq̣u
provides
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
without
حِسَابٖ
ḥisaab.
measure
٢١٢
2:213
كَانَ
Kaanan
Was
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
mankind
أُمَّةٗ
ʹummatañw
a community
وَٰحِدَةٗ
waaḥidah;
single
فَبَعَثَ
fabaʻas̤al
then raised up
ٱللَّهُ
laahun
Allah
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
nabiyyeena
[the] Prophets
مُبَشِّرِينَ
Mubashshireena
(as) bearers of glad tidings
وَمُنذِرِينَ
wa-Muñẓireen:
and (as) warners
وَأَنزَلَ
wa-ʹañzala
and sent down
مَعَهُمُ
maʻahumul
with them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in [the] truth
لِيَحۡكُمَ
liyaḥkuma
to judge
بَيۡنَ
baynan
between
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
[the] people
فِيمَا
feemakh
in what
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
talafooo
they differed
فِيهِۚ
feeh.
[in it]
وَمَا
Wa-makh
And (did) not
ٱخۡتَلَفَ
talafa
differ[ed]
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُوتُوهُ
ʹootoohu
were given it
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
جَآءَتۡهُمُ
jaaaʹathumul
came to them
ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُ
bayyinaatu
the clear proofs
بَغۡيَۢا
bag̣yam
(out of) jealousy
بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ
baynahum.
among themselves
فَهَدَى
Fahadal
And guided
ٱللَّهُ
lahul
Allah
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe[d]
لِمَا
limakh
regarding what
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
talafoo
they differed
فِيهِ
feehi
[in it]
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡحَقِّ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
the Truth
بِإِذۡنِهِۦۗ
biʹiẓnih.
with His permission
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَهۡدِي
yahdee
guides
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
صِرَٰطٖ
Ṣiraaṭim
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٍ
Mustaq̣eem.
straight
٢١٣
2:214
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
حَسِبۡتُمۡ
ḥasibtum
(do) you think
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَدۡخُلُواْ
tadkhulul
you will enter
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Jannata
Paradise
وَلَمَّا
wa-lammaa
while not
يَأۡتِكُم
yaʹ-tikum
(has) come to you
مَّثَلُ
mas̤alul
like (came to)
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
khalaw
passed away
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِكُمۖ
q̣ablikum?
before you
مَّسَّتۡهُمُ
Massathumul
Touched them
ٱلۡبَأۡسَآءُ
baʹsaaaʹu
[the] adversity
وَٱلضَّرَّآءُ
waḍḍarraaaʹu
and [the] hardship
وَزُلۡزِلُواْ
wa-zulziloo
and they were shaken
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَقُولَ
yaq̣oolar
said
ٱلرَّسُولُ
Rasoolu
the Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
مَعَهُۥ
maʻahoo
with him
مَتَىٰ
mataa
When
نَصۡرُ
naṣrul
[will] (the) help
ٱللَّهِۗ
laah?
(of) Allah (come)
أَلَآ
ʹAlaaa
Unquestionably
إِنَّ
ʹinna
[Indeed]
نَصۡرَ
naṣral
help
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
قَرِيبٞ
q̣areeb!
(is) near
٢١٤
2:215
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Yasʹaloonaka
They ask you
مَاذَا
maa-ẓaa
what
يُنفِقُونَۖ
yuñfiq̣oon.
they (should) spend
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَآ
maaa
Whatever
أَنفَقۡتُم
ʹañfaq̣tum
you spend
مِّنۡ
min
of
خَيۡرٖ
khayriñ
good
فَلِلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ
falilwaalidayni
(is) for parents
وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ
wal-ʹaq̣rabeena
and the relatives
وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ
walyataamaa
and the orphans
وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ
wal-masaakeeni
and the needy
وَٱبۡنِ
wabnis
and (of)
ٱلسَّبِيلِۗ
sabeel.
the wayfarer
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And whatever
تَفۡعَلُواْ
tafʻaloo
you do
مِنۡ
min
of
خَيۡرٖ
khayriñ
good
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
So indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِهِۦ
bihee
of it
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Aware

كُتِبَ
Kutiba
Is prescribed
عَلَيۡكُمُ
ʻalaykumul
upon you
ٱلۡقِتَالُ
q̣itaalu
[the] fighting
وَهُوَ
wa-huwa
while it
كُرۡهٞ
kurhul
(is) hateful
لَّكُمۡۖ
lakum.
to you
وَعَسَىٰٓ
Wa-ʻasaaa
But perhaps
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تَكۡرَهُواْ
takrahoo
you dislike
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
a thing
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and it
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(is) good
لَّكُمۡۖ
lakum.
for you
وَعَسَىٰٓ
Wa-ʻasaaa
and perhaps
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تُحِبُّواْ
tuḥibboo
you love
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
a thing
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and it
شَرّٞ
sharrul
(is) bad
لَّكُمۡۚ
lakum.
for you
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-ʹañtum
while you
لَا
laa-
(do) not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon.
know
٢١٦
2:217
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Yasʹaloonaka
They ask you
عَنِ
ʻanish
about
ٱلشَّهۡرِ
shahril
the month
ٱلۡحَرَامِ
Ḥaraami
[the] sacred
قِتَالٖ
q̣itaaliñ
(concerning) fighting
فِيهِۖ
feeh.
in it
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
قِتَالٞ
q̣itaaluñ
Fighting
فِيهِ
feehi
therein
كَبِيرٞۚ
kabeer.
(is) a great (sin)
وَصَدٌّ
Wa-ṣaddun
but hindering (people)
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَكُفۡرُۢ
wa-kufrum
and disbelief
بِهِۦ
bihee
in Him
وَٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ
wal-Masjidil
and (preventing access to) Al-Masjid
ٱلۡحَرَامِ
Ḥaraami
Al-Haraam
وَإِخۡرَاجُ
wa-ʹikhraaju
and driving out
أَهۡلِهِۦ
ʹahlihee
its people
مِنۡهُ
minhu
from it
أَكۡبَرُ
ʹakbaru
(is) greater (sin)
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
near
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
Allah
وَٱلۡفِتۡنَةُ
Wal-fitnatu
And [the] oppression
أَكۡبَرُ
ʹakbaru
(is) greater
مِنَ
minal
than
ٱلۡقَتۡلِۗ
q̣atl.
[the] killing
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَزَالُونَ
yazaaloona
they will cease
يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ
yuq̣aatiloonakum
(to) fight with you
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَرُدُّوكُمۡ
yaruddookum
they turn you away
عَن
ʻañ
from
دِينِكُمۡ
Deenikum
your religion
إِنِ
ʹinis
if
ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْۚ
taṭaaʻoo.
they are able
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَرۡتَدِدۡ
yartadid
turns away
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
عَن
ʻañ
from
دِينِهِۦ
Deenihee
his religion
فَيَمُتۡ
fayamut
then dies
وَهُوَ
wa-huwa
while he
كَافِرٞ
kaafiruñ
(is) a disbeliever
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
for those
حَبِطَتۡ
ḥabiṭat
became worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaaluhum
their deeds
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
wal-ʹAakhirah.
and the Hereafter
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Wa-ʹulaaaʹika
And those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabun
(are) companions
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naari
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
(will) abide forever
٢١٧
2:218
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
هَاجَرُواْ
haajaroo
emigrated
وَجَٰهَدُواْ
wa-jaahadoo
and strove
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjoona
they hope
رَحۡمَتَ
Raḥmatal
(for) Mercy
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٢١٨
2:219
۞يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Yasʹaloonaka
They ask you
عَنِ
ʻanil
about
ٱلۡخَمۡرِ
khamri
[the] intoxicants
وَٱلۡمَيۡسِرِۖ
walmaysir.
and [the] games of chance
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
فِيهِمَآ
feehimaaa
In both of them
إِثۡمٞ
ʹis̤muñ
(is) a sin
كَبِيرٞ
kabeeruñw
great
وَمَنَٰفِعُ
wamanaafiʻu
and (some) benefits
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaas:
for [the] people
وَإِثۡمُهُمَآ
Wa-ʹis̤muhumaaa
But sin of both of them
أَكۡبَرُ
ʹakbaru
(is) greater
مِن
min
than
نَّفۡعِهِمَاۗ
nafʻihimaa.
(the) benefit of (the) two
وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Wa-Yasʹaloonaka
And they ask you
مَاذَا
maaẓaa
what
يُنفِقُونَۖ
yuñfiq̣oon.
they (should) spend
قُلِ
Q̣ulil
Say
ٱلۡعَفۡوَۗ
ʻafw.
The surplus
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
يُبَيِّنُ
yubayyinul
makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لَكُمُ
lakumul
to you
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹaayaati
[the] Verses
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
tatafakkaroon
ponder
٢١٩

2:220
فِي
Fid
Concerning
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۗ
wal-ʹAakhirah.
and the Hereafter
وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Wa-yasʹaloonaka
They ask you
عَنِ
ʻanil
about
ٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰۖ
yataamaa.
the orphans
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِصۡلَاحٞ
ʹiṣlaaḥul
Setting right (their affairs)
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
خَيۡرٞۖ
khayr.
(is) best
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تُخَالِطُوهُمۡ
tukhaaliṭoohum
you associate with them
فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡۚ
faʹikhwaanukum.
then they (are) your brothers
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamul
knows
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدَ
mufsida
the corrupter
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِۚ
muṣliḥ.
the amender
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
(had) willed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لَأَعۡنَتَكُمۡۚ
laʹaʻnatakum:
surely He (could have) put you in difficulties
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ

عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٢٢٠
2:221
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَنكِحُواْ
tañkiḥul
[you] marry
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكَٰتِ
mushrikaati
[the] polytheistic women
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُؤۡمِنَّۚ
yuʹminn:
they believe
وَلَأَمَةٞ
wa-laʹamatum
And a bondwoman
مُّؤۡمِنَةٌ
muʹminatun
(who is) believing
خَيۡرٞ
khayrum
(is) better
مِّن
mim
than
مُّشۡرِكَةٖ
mushrikatiñw
a polytheistic woman
وَلَوۡ
walaw
[and] even if
أَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡۗ
ʹaʻjabatkum.
she pleases you
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تُنكِحُواْ
tuñkiḥul
give in marriage (your women)
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeena
(to) [the] polytheistic men
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُؤۡمِنُواْۚ
yuʹminoo:
they believe
وَلَعَبۡدٞ
wa-laʻabdum
and a bondman
مُّؤۡمِنٌ
muʹminun
(who is) believing
خَيۡرٞ
khayrum
(is) better
مِّن
mim
than
مُّشۡرِكٖ
mushrikiñw
a polytheistic man
وَلَوۡ
wa law
[and] even if
أَعۡجَبَكُمۡۗ
ʹaʻjabakum.
he pleases you
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
[Those]
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
they invite
إِلَى
ʹilan
to
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naar.
the Fire
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
and Allah
يَدۡعُوٓاْ
yadʻoo
invites
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
Paradise
وَٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ
wal-mag̣firati
and [the] forgiveness
بِإِذۡنِهِۦۖ
biʹiẓnih,
by His permission
وَيُبَيِّنُ
wa-yubayyinu
And He makes clear
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
ʹaayaatihee
His Verses
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
for the people
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
yataẓakkaroon.
take heed
٢٢١
2:222
وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
Wa-yasʹaloonaka
And they ask you
عَنِ
ʻanil
about
ٱلۡمَحِيضِۖ
maḥeeḍ.
[the] menstruation
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
هُوَ
huwa
It
أَذٗى
ʹaẓañ
(is) a hurt
فَٱعۡتَزِلُواْ
faʻtazilun
so keep away (from)
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
nisaaaʹa
[the] women
فِي
fil
during
ٱلۡمَحِيضِ
maḥeeḍi
(their) [the] menstruation
وَلَا
wa-laa
And (do) not
تَقۡرَبُوهُنَّ
taq̣raboohunna
approach them
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَطۡهُرۡنَۖ
yaṭhurn.
they are cleansed
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
Then when
تَطَهَّرۡنَ
taṭahharna
they are purified
فَأۡتُوهُنَّ
faʹtoohunna
then come to them
مِنۡ
min
from
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
where
أَمَرَكُمُ
ʹamarakumul
has ordered you
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah.
Allah
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbut
loves
ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ
Tawwaabeena
those who turn in repentance
وَيُحِبُّ
wa-yuḥibbul
and loves
ٱلۡمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
Mutaṭahhireen.
those who purify themselves
٢٢٢
2:223
نِسَآؤُكُمۡ
Nisaaaʹukum
Your wives
حَرۡثٞ
ḥars̤ul
(are) a tilth
لَّكُمۡ
lakum:
for you
فَأۡتُواْ
faʹtoo
so come
حَرۡثَكُمۡ
ḥars̤akum
(to) your tilth
أَنَّىٰ
ʹannaa
when
شِئۡتُمۡۖ
shiʹtum;
you wish
وَقَدِّمُواْ
wa-q̣addimoo
and send forth (good deeds)
لِأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ
liʹañfusikum;
for yourselves
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wattaq̣ul
And be conscious
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(of) Allah
وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
waʻlamooo
and know
أَنَّكُم
ʹannakum
that you
مُّلَٰقُوهُۗ
mulaaq̣ooh:
(will) meet Him
وَبَشِّرِ
Wa-bash-shiril
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
(to) the believers
٢٢٣
2:224
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَجۡعَلُواْ
tajʻalul
make
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah's (name)
عُرۡضَةٗ
ʻurḍatal
an excuse
لِّأَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ
liʹaymaanikum
in your oaths
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَبَرُّواْ
tabarroo
you do good
وَتَتَّقُواْ
wa-tattaq̣oo
and be righteous
وَتُصۡلِحُواْ
wa-tuṣliḥoo
and make peace
بَيۡنَ
baynan
between
ٱلنَّاسِۚ
naas;
[the] people
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
Sameeʻun
(is) All-Hearing
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.

لَّا
Laa-
Not
يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ
yuʹaakhiẓukumul
will take you to task
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِٱللَّغۡوِ
billag̣wi
for (what is) unintentional
فِيٓ
fee
in
أَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ
ʹaymaanikum
your oaths
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñy
[and] but
يُؤَاخِذُكُم
yuʹaakhiẓukum̃
He takes you to task
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَسَبَتۡ
kasabat
(have) earned
قُلُوبُكُمۡۗ
q̣uloobukum;
your hearts
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
غَفُورٌ
G̣afoorun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
حَلِيمٞ
Ḥaleem.
Most Forbearing
