chosen
وَكَانَ

and was
رَسُولٗا
rasulan
a Messenger
نَّبِيّٗا
nabiyyan
a Prophet

وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ
wanadaynahu
And We called him
مِن
min
from
جَانِبِ
janibi
(the) side
ٱلطُّورِ
al-turi
(of) the Mount
ٱلۡأَيۡمَنِ
al-aymani
the right
وَقَرَّبۡنَٰهُ
waqarrabnahu
and brought him near
نَجِيّٗا
najiyyan
(for) conversation
٥٢
19:53
وَوَهَبۡنَا
wawahabna
And We bestowed
لَهُۥ
lahu
[to] him
مِن
min
from
رَّحۡمَتِنَآ
rahmatina
Our Mercy
أَخَاهُ
akhahu
his brother
هَٰرُونَ
haruna
Harun
نَبِيّٗا
nabiyyan
a Prophet
٥٣
19:54
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
wa-udh'kur
And mention
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
إِسۡمَٰعِيلَۚ
is'ma'ila
Ishmael
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
كَانَ
kana
was
صَادِقَ
sadiqa
true
ٱلۡوَعۡدِ
al-wa'di
(to his) promise
وَكَانَ
wakana
and was
رَسُولٗا
rasulan
a Messenger
نَّبِيّٗا
nabiyyan
a Prophet
٥٤
19:55
وَكَانَ
wakana
And he used
يَأۡمُرُ
yamuru
(to) enjoin
أَهۡلَهُۥ
ahlahu
(on) his people
بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
bil-salati
the prayer
وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
wal-zakati
and zakah
وَكَانَ
wakana
and was
عِندَ
inda
near
رَبِّهِۦ
rabbihi
his Lord
مَرۡضِيّٗا
mardiyyan
pleasing
٥٥
19:56
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
wa-udh'kur
And mention
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
إِدۡرِيسَۚ
id'risa
Idris
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
كَانَ
kana
was
صِدِّيقٗا
siddiqan
truthful
نَّبِيّٗا
nabiyyan
a Prophet
٥٦
19:57
وَرَفَعۡنَٰهُ
warafa'nahu
And We raised him
مَكَانًا
makanan
(to) a position
عَلِيًّا
aliyyan
high
٥٧
19:58
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(were) the ones whom
أَنۡعَمَ
an'ama
Allah bestowed favor
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
مِّنَ
mina
from (among)
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
al-nabiyina
the Prophets
مِن
min
of
ذُرِّيَّةِ
dhurriyyati
(the) offspring
ءَادَمَ
adama
(of) Adam
وَمِمَّنۡ
wamimman
and of those
حَمَلۡنَا
hamalna
We carried
مَعَ
ma'a
with
نُوحٖ
nuhin
Nuh
وَمِن
wamin
and of
ذُرِّيَّةِ
dhurriyyati
(the) offspring
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
وَإِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
wa-is'raila
and Israel
وَمِمَّنۡ
wamimman
and of (those) whom
هَدَيۡنَا
hadayna
We guided
وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَآۚ
wa-ij'tabayna
and We chose
إِذَا
idha
When
تُتۡلَىٰ
tut'la
were recited
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتُ
ayatu
(the) Verses
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
(of) the Most Gracious
خَرُّواْۤ
kharru
they fell
سُجَّدٗاۤ
sujjadan
prostrating
وَبُكِيّٗا۩
wabukiyyan
and weeping
٥٨
19:59
۞فَخَلَفَ
fakhalafa
Then succeeded
مِنۢ
min
after them
بَعۡدِهِمۡ
ba'dihim
after them
خَلۡفٌ
khalfun
successors
أَضَاعُواْ
ada'u
who neglected
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَٱتَّبَعُواْ
wa-ittaba'u
and they followed
ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِۖ
al-shahawati
the lusts
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
so soon
يَلۡقَوۡنَ
yalqawna
they will meet
غَيًّا
ghayyan
evil
٥٩
19:60
إِلَّا
illa
Except
مَن
man
(one) who
تَابَ
taba
repented
وَءَامَنَ
waamana
and believed
وَعَمِلَ
wa'amila
and did
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
good (deeds)
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
Then those
يَدۡخُلُونَ
yadkhuluna
will enter
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
al-janata
Paradise
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz'lamuna
they will be wronged
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
(in) anything
٦٠
19:61
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
Gardens
عَدۡنٍ
adnin
(of) Eden
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
وَعَدَ
wa'ada
promised
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
al-rahmanu
the Most Gracious
عِبَادَهُۥ
ibadahu
(to) His slaves
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ
bil-ghaybi
in the unseen
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed [it]
كَانَ
kana
is
وَعۡدُهُۥ
wa'duhu
His promise
مَأۡتِيّٗا
matiyyan
sure to come
٦١
19:62
لَّا
la
Not
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
they will hear
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
لَغۡوًا
laghwan
vain talk
إِلَّا
illa
but
سَلَٰمٗاۖ
salaman
peace
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
And for them
رِزۡقُهُمۡ
riz'quhum
(is) their provision
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
بُكۡرَةٗ
buk'ratan
morning
وَعَشِيّٗا
wa'ashiyyan
and evening
٦٢
19:63
تِلۡكَ
til'ka
This
ٱلۡجَنَّةُ
al-janatu
(is) Paradise
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
نُورِثُ
nurithu
We give (as) inheritance
مِنۡ
min
[of] (to)
عِبَادِنَا
ibadina
Our slaves
مَن
man
(the one) who
كَانَ
kana
is
تَقِيّٗا
taqiyyan
righteous
٦٣
19:64
وَمَا
wama
And not
نَتَنَزَّلُ
natanazzalu
we descend
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِأَمۡرِ
bi-amri
by (the) Command
رَبِّكَۖ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَهُۥ
lahu
To Him (belongs)
مَا
ma
what
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(is) before us
أَيۡدِينَا
aydina
(is) before us
وَمَا
wama
and what
خَلۡفَنَا
khalfana
(is) behind us
وَمَا
wama
and what
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(is) between
ذَٰلِكَۚ
dhalika
that
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
is
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
your Lord
نَسِيّٗا
nasiyyan
forgetful
٦٤

19:65
رَّبُّ
rabbu
Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
(is) between both of them
فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ
fa-u'bud'hu
so worship Him
وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ
wa-is'tabir
and be constant
لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦۚ
li'ibadatihi
in His worship
هَلۡ
hal
Do
تَعۡلَمُ
ta'lamu
you know
لَهُۥ
lahu
for Him
سَمِيّٗا
samiyyan
any similarity
٦٥
19:66
وَيَقُولُ
wayaqulu
And says
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
al-insanu
[the] man
أَءِذَا
a-idha
What! When
مَا
ma
What! When
مِتُّ
mittu
I am dead
لَسَوۡفَ
lasawfa
surely will
أُخۡرَجُ
ukh'raju
I be brought forth
حَيًّا
hayyan
alive
٦٦
19:67
أَوَلَا
awala
Does not
يَذۡكُرُ
yadhkuru
remember
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
al-insanu
[the] man
أَنَّا
anna
that We
خَلَقۡنَٰهُ
khalaqnahu
We created him
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
وَلَمۡ
walam
while not
يَكُ
yaku
he was
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
٦٧
19:68
فَوَرَبِّكَ
fawarabbika
So by your Lord
لَنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ
lanahshurannahum
surely We will gather them
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ
wal-shayatina
and the devils
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ
lanuh'dirannahum
surely We will bring them
حَوۡلَ
hawla
around
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
جِثِيّٗا
jithiyyan
bent (on) knees
٦٨
19:69
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
لَنَنزِعَنَّ
lananzi'anna
surely We will drag out
مِن
min
from
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شِيعَةٍ
shi'atin
sect
أَيُّهُمۡ
ayyuhum
those of them
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(who were) worst
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
the Most Gracious
عِتِيّٗا
itiyyan
(in) rebellion
٦٩
19:70
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
لَنَحۡنُ
lanahnu
surely We
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
know best
بِٱلَّذِينَ
bi-alladhina
[of] those who
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
أَوۡلَىٰ
awla
(are) most worthy
بِهَا
biha
therein
صِلِيّٗا
siliyyan
(of) being burnt
٧٠
19:71
وَإِن
wa-in
And (there is) not
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
(any) of you
إِلَّا
illa
but
وَارِدُهَاۚ
wariduha
(will be) passing over it
كَانَ
kana
(This) is
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
حَتۡمٗا
hatman
an inevitability
مَّقۡضِيّٗا
maqdiyyan
decreed
٧١
19:72
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
نُنَجِّي
nunajji
We will deliver
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱتَّقَواْ
ittaqaw
feared (Allah)
وَّنَذَرُ
wanadharu
and We will leave
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
جِثِيّٗا
jithiyyan
bent (on) knees
٧٢
19:73
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
تُتۡلَىٰ
tut'la
are recited
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
to them
ءَايَٰتُنَا
ayatuna
Our Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٖ
bayyinatin
clear
قَالَ
qala
say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believed
أَيُّ
ayyu
Which
ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ
al-fariqayni
(of) the two groups
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
مَّقَامٗا
maqaman
(in) position
وَأَحۡسَنُ
wa-ahsanu
and best
نَدِيّٗا
nadiyyan
(in) assembly
٧٣
19:74
وَكَمۡ
wakam
And how many
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ahlakna
We destroyed
قَبۡلَهُم
qablahum
before them
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡنٍ
qarnin
a generation
هُمۡ
hum
they
أَحۡسَنُ
ahsanu
(were) better
أَثَٰثٗا
athathan
(in) possessions
وَرِءۡيٗا
wari'yan
and appearance
٧٤
19:75
قُلۡ
qul
Say
مَن
man
Whoever
كَانَ
kana
is
فِي
fi
in
ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ
al-dalalati
[the] error
فَلۡيَمۡدُدۡ
falyamdud
then surely will extend
لَهُ
lahu
for him
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
al-rahmanu
the Most Gracious
مَدًّاۚ
maddan
an extension
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
رَأَوۡاْ
ra-aw
they see
مَا
ma
what
يُوعَدُونَ
yu'aduna
they were promised
إِمَّا
imma
either
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
وَإِمَّا
wa-imma
or
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
al-sa'ata
the Hour
فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ
fasaya'lamuna
then they will know
مَنۡ
man
who
هُوَ
huwa
[he]
شَرّٞ
sharrun
(is) worst
مَّكَانٗا
makanan
(in) position
وَأَضۡعَفُ
wa-ad'afu
and weaker
جُندٗا
jundan
(in) forces
٧٥
19:76
وَيَزِيدُ
wayazidu
And Allah increases
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah increases
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ
ih'tadaw
accept guidance
هُدٗىۗ
hudan
(in) guidance
وَٱلۡبَٰقِيَٰتُ
wal-baqiyatu
And the everlasting
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ
al-salihatu
good deeds
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
(are) better
عِندَ
inda
near
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
ثَوَابٗا
thawaban
(for) reward
وَخَيۡرٞ
wakhayrun
and better
مَّرَدًّا
maraddan
(for) return
٧٦

19:77
أَفَرَءَيۡتَ
afara-ayta
Then have you seen
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
he who
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieved
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
in Our Verses
وَقَالَ
waqala
and said
لَأُوتَيَنَّ
lautayanna
Surely I will be given
مَالٗا
malan
wealth
وَوَلَدًا
wawaladan
and children
٧٧
19:78
أَطَّلَعَ
attala'a
Has he looked
ٱلۡغَيۡبَ
al-ghayba
(into) the unseen
أَمِ
ami
or
ٱتَّخَذَ
ittakhadha
has he taken
عِندَ
inda
from
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
the Most Gracious
عَهۡدٗا
ahdan
a promise
٧٨
19:79
كـَلَّاۚ
kalla
Nay
سَنَكۡتُبُ
sanaktubu
We will record
مَا
ma
what
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
he says
وَنَمُدُّ
wanamuddu
and We will extend
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
the punishment
مَدّٗا
maddan
extensively
٧٩
19:80
وَنَرِثُهُۥ
wanarithuhu
And We will inherit (from) him
مَا
ma
what
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
he says
وَيَأۡتِينَا
wayatina
and he will come to Us
فَرۡدٗا
fardan
alone
٨٠
19:81
وَٱتَّخَذُواْ
wa-ittakhadhu
And they have taken
مِن
min
besides Allah
دُونِ
duni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
besides Allah
ءَالِهَةٗ
alihatan
gods
لِّيَكُونُواْ
liyakunu
that they may be
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عِزّٗا
izzan
an honor
٨١
19:82
كـَلَّاۚ
kalla
Nay
سَيَكۡفُرُونَ
sayakfuruna
they will deny
بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ
bi'ibadatihim
their worship (of them)
وَيَكُونُونَ
wayakununa
and they will be
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
against them
ضِدًّا
diddan
opponents
٨٢
19:83
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّآ
anna
that We
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
[We] have sent
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ
al-shayatina
the devils
عَلَى
ala
upon
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
تَؤُزُّهُمۡ
ta-uzzuhum
inciting them
أَزّٗا
azzan
(with) incitement
٨٣
19:84
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَعۡجَلۡ
ta'jal
make haste
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
alayhim
against them
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
نَعُدُّ
na'uddu
We count
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَدّٗا
addan
a number
٨٤
19:85
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) Day
نَحۡشُرُ
nahshuru
We will gather
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
al-mutaqina
the righteous
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
the Most Gracious
وَفۡدٗا
wafdan
(as) a delegation
٨٥
19:86
وَنَسُوقُ
wanasuqu
And We will drive
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
the criminals
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
وِرۡدٗا
wir'dan
thirsty
٨٦
19:87
لَّا
la
Not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikuna
they will have the power
ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ
al-shafa'ata
(of) the intercession
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَنِ
mani
(he) who
ٱتَّخَذَ
ittakhadha
has taken
عِندَ
inda
from
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
the Most Gracious
عَهۡدٗا
ahdan
a covenant
٨٧
19:88
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they say
ٱتَّخَذَ
ittakhadha
Has taken
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
al-rahmanu
the Most Gracious
وَلَدٗا
waladan
a son
٨٨
19:89
لَّقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
جِئۡتُمۡ
ji'tum
you have put forth
شَيۡـًٔا
shayan
a thing
إِدّٗا
iddan
atrocious
٨٩
19:90
تَكَادُ
takadu
Almost
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ
al-samawatu
the heavens
يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ
yatafattarna
get torn
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
therefrom
وَتَنشَقُّ
watanshaqqu
and splits asunder
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
al-ardu
the earth
وَتَخِرُّ
watakhirru
and collapse
ٱلۡجِبَالُ
al-jibalu
the mountain
هَدًّا
haddan
(in) devastation
٩٠
19:91
أَن
an
That
دَعَوۡاْ
da'aw
they invoke
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
lilrrahmani
to the Most Gracious
وَلَدٗا
waladan
a son
٩١
19:92
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَنۢبَغِي
yanbaghi
is appropriate
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
lilrrahmani
for the Most Gracious
أَن
an
that
يَتَّخِذَ
yattakhidha
He should take
وَلَدًا
waladan
a son
٩٢
19:93
إِن
in
Not
كُلُّ
kullu
all
مَن
man
who
فِي
fi
(are) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
إِلَّآ
illa
but
ءَاتِي
ati
(will) come
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
(to) the Most Gracious
عَبۡدٗا
abdan
(as) a slave
٩٣
19:94
لَّقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
أَحۡصَىٰهُمۡ
ahsahum
He has enumerated them
وَعَدَّهُمۡ
wa'addahum
and counted them
عَدّٗا
addan
a counting
٩٤
19:95
وَكُلُّهُمۡ
wakulluhum
And all of them
ءَاتِيهِ
atihi
(will) come (to) Him
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
فَرۡدًا
fardan
alone
٩٥

19:96
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
good deeds
سَيَجۡعَلُ
sayaj'alu
will bestow
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
al-rahmanu
the Most Gracious
وُدّٗا
wuddan
affection
٩٦
19:97
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
So only
يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ
yassarnahu
We (have) made it easy
بِلِسَانِكَ
bilisanika
in your tongue
لِتُبَشِّرَ
litubashira
that you may give glad tidings
بِهِ
bihi
with it
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
al-mutaqina
(to) the righteous
وَتُنذِرَ
watundhira
and warn
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
لُّدّٗا
luddan
hostile
٩٧
19:98
وَكَمۡ
wakam
And how many
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ahlakna
We (have) destroyed
قَبۡلَهُم
qablahum
before them
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡنٍ
qarnin
a generation
هَلۡ
hal
Can
تُحِسُّ
tuhissu
you perceive
مِنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
مِّنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٍ
ahadin
one
أَوۡ
aw
or
تَسۡمَعُ
tasma'u
hear
لَهُمۡ
lahum
from them
رِكۡزَۢا
rik'zan
a sound
٩٨
