their eyes

a cover
عَن
ʻañ
from
ذِكۡرِي
ẓikree
My remembrance
وَكَانُواْ
wakaanoo
and were
لَا
laa-
not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoona
able
سَمۡعًا
samʻaa.
(to) hear
١٠١
18:102
أَفَحَسِبَ
ʹAfaḥasibal
Do then think
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieve
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَتَّخِذُواْ
yattakhiẓoo
they (can) take
عِبَادِي
ʻibaadee
My servants
مِن
miñ
besides Me
دُونِيٓ
dooneee
besides Me
أَوۡلِيَآءَۚ
ʹawliyaaaʹ?
(as) protectors
إِنَّآ
ʹInnaaa
Indeed We
أَعۡتَدۡنَا
ʹaʻtadnaa
We have prepared
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
Hell
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil-kaafireena
for the disbelievers
نُزُلٗا
nuzulaa.
(as) a lodging
١٠٢
18:103
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Shall
نُنَبِّئُكُم
nunabbiʹukum̃
We inform you
بِٱلۡأَخۡسَرِينَ
bilʹakhsareena
of the greatest losers
أَعۡمَٰلًا
ʹaʻmaalaa?
(as to their) deeds
١٠٣
18:104
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those
ضَلَّ
ḍalla
is lost
سَعۡيُهُمۡ
saʻyuhum
their effort
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
يَحۡسَبُونَ
yaḥsaboona
think
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahm
that they
يُحۡسِنُونَ
yuḥsinoona
(were) acquiring good
صُنۡعًا
ṣunʻaa?
(in) work
١٠٤
18:105
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹikal
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) the ones who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaati
in the Verses
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
(of) their Lord
وَلِقَآئِهِۦ
wa-Liq̣aaaʹihee
and the meeting (with) Him
فَحَبِطَتۡ
faḥabiṭat
So (are) vain
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaaluhum
their deeds
فَلَا
falaa
so not
نُقِيمُ
nuq̣eemu
We will assign
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on) the Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَزۡنٗا
waznaa.
any weight
١٠٥
18:106
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ
jazaaaʹuhum
(is) their recompense
جَهَنَّمُ
Jahannamu
Hell
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
they disbelieved
وَٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ
wattakhaẓooo
and took
ءَايَٰتِي
ʹAayaatee
My Verses
وَرُسُلِي
wa-Rusulee
and My Messengers
هُزُوًا
huzuwaa.
(in) ridicule
١٠٦
18:107
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
righteous deeds
كَانَتۡ
kaanat
for them will be
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them will be
جَنَّٰتُ
Jannaatul
Gardens
ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسِ
Firdawsi
(of) the Paradise
نُزُلًا
nuzulaa,
(as) a lodging
١٠٧
18:108
خَٰلِدِينَ
Khaalideena
Abiding forever
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
لَا
laa-
Not
يَبۡغُونَ
yabg̣oona
they will desire
عَنۡهَا
ʻanhaa
from it
حِوَلٗا
ḥiwalaa.
any transfer
١٠٨
18:109
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّوۡ
law
If
كَانَ
kaanal
were
ٱلۡبَحۡرُ
baḥru
the sea
مِدَادٗا
midaadal
ink
لِّكَلِمَٰتِ
li-Kalimaati
for (the) Words
رَبِّي
Rabbee
(of) my Lord
لَنَفِدَ
lanafidal
surely (would be) exhausted
ٱلۡبَحۡرُ
baḥru
the sea
قَبۡلَ
q̣abla
before
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تَنفَدَ
tañfada
(were) exhausted
كَلِمَٰتُ
Kalimaatu
(the) Words
رَبِّي
Rabbee
(of) my Lord
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even if
جِئۡنَا
jiʹnaa
We brought
بِمِثۡلِهِۦ
bimis̤lihee
(the) like (of) it
مَدَدٗا
madadaa.
(as) a supplement
١٠٩
18:110
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَآ
ʹinnamaaa
Only
أَنَا۠
ʹana
I
بَشَرٞ
basharum
(am) a man
مِّثۡلُكُمۡ
mis̤lukum
like you
يُوحَىٰٓ
yooḥaaa
Has been revealed
إِلَيَّ
ʹilayya
to me
أَنَّمَآ
ʹannamaaa
that
إِلَٰهُكُمۡ
ʹIlaahukum
your God
إِلَٰهٞ
ʹIlaahuñw
(is) God
وَٰحِدٞۖ
Waaḥid:
One
فَمَن
famañ
So whoever
كَانَ
kaana
is
يَرۡجُواْ
yarjoo
hoping
لِقَآءَ
Liq̣aaaʹa
(for the) meeting
رَبِّهِۦ
Rabbihee
(with) his Lord
فَلۡيَعۡمَلۡ
falyaʻmal
let him do
عَمَلٗا
ʻamalañ
deeds
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaalihañw
righteous
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يُشۡرِكۡ
yushrik
associate
بِعِبَادَةِ
biʻibaadati
in (the) worship
رَبِّهِۦٓ
Rabbiheee
(of) his Lord
أَحَدَۢا
ʹaḥadaa.
anyone
