ﲪﲫﲮﲴ
16:1
أَتَىٰٓ
ʹAtaaa
Will come
أَمۡرُ
ʹAmrul
(the) command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) command of Allah
فَلَا
falaa
so (do) not
تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوهُۚ
tastaʻjilooh:
(be) impatient for it
سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ
Subḥaanahoo
Glorified is He
وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
wa-taʻaalaa
and Exalted (is) He
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon.
they associate
١
16:2
يُنَزِّلُ
Yunazzilul
He sends down
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
malaaaʹikata
the Angels
بِٱلرُّوحِ
birrooḥi
with the inspiration
مِنۡ
min
of
أَمۡرِهِۦ
ʹAmrihee
His Command
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
مِنۡ
min
of
عِبَادِهِۦٓ
ʻibaadiheee
His slaves
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
أَنذِرُوٓاْ
ʹañẓirooo
Warn
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that [He]
لَآ
Laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَنَا۠
ʹana
Me
فَٱتَّقُونِ
fattaq̣oon.
so fear Me
٢
16:3
خَلَقَ
Khalaq̣as
He created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bilḥaq̣q̣:
in truth
تَعَٰلَىٰ
Taʻaalaa
Exalted is He
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon!
they associate
٣
16:4
خَلَقَ
Khalaq̣al
He created
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
ʹiñsaana
the human kind
مِن
min
from
نُّطۡفَةٖ
nuṭfatiñ
a minute quantity of semen
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
then behold
هُوَ
huwa
he
خَصِيمٞ
khaṣeemum
(is) an opponent
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen!
clear
٤
16:5
وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمَ
Wal-ʹanʻaama
And the cattle
خَلَقَهَاۖ
khalaq̣ahaa
He created them
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فِيهَا
feehaa
in them
دِفۡءٞ
difʹuñw
(is) warmth
وَمَنَٰفِعُ
wamanaafiʻu
and benefits
وَمِنۡهَا
wa-minhaa
and from them
تَأۡكُلُونَ
taʹkuloon.
you eat
٥
16:6
وَلَكُمۡ
Wa-lakum
And for you
فِيهَا
feehaa
in them
جَمَالٌ
jamaalun
(is) beauty
حِينَ
ḥeena
when
تُرِيحُونَ
tureeḥoona
you bring them in
وَحِينَ
waḥeena
and when
تَسۡرَحُونَ
tasraḥoon.
you take them out

16:7
وَتَحۡمِلُ
Wa-taḥmilu
And they carry
أَثۡقَالَكُمۡ
ʹas̤q̣aalakum
your loads
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
بَلَدٖ
baladil
a land
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَكُونُواْ
takoonoo
you could
بَٰلِغِيهِ
baalig̣eehi
reach it
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِشِقِّ
bishiq̣q̣il
with great trouble
ٱلۡأَنفُسِۚ
ʹañfus:
(to) yourselves
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
رَبَّكُمۡ
Rabbakum
your Lord
لَرَءُوفٞ
la-Raʹoofur
surely is Most Kind
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٧
16:8
وَٱلۡخَيۡلَ
Walkhayla
And horses
وَٱلۡبِغَالَ
wal-big̣aala
and mules
وَٱلۡحَمِيرَ
wal-ḥameera
and donkeys
لِتَرۡكَبُوهَا
litarkaboohaa
for you to ride them
وَزِينَةٗۚ
wa-zeenah;
and (as) adornment
وَيَخۡلُقُ
wa-yakhluq̣u
And He creates
مَا
maa
what
لَا
laa-
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon.
you know
٨
16:9
وَعَلَى
Wa-ʻalal
And upon
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
قَصۡدُ
q̣aṣdus
(is) the direction
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
Sabeeli
(of) the way
وَمِنۡهَا
wa-minhaa
and among them
جَآئِرٞۚ
jaaaʹir:
(are) crooked
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
And if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
He willed
لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ
lahadaakum
surely He would have guided you
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen.

16:10
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
sends down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
مَآءٗۖ
maaaʹal
water
لَّكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡهُ
minhu
of it
شَرَابٞ
sharaabuñw
(is) drink
وَمِنۡهُ
waminhu
and from it
شَجَرٞ
shajaruñ
(grows) vegetation
فِيهِ
feehi
in which
تُسِيمُونَ
tuseemoon.
you pasture your cattle
١٠
16:11
يُنۢبِتُ
Yumbitu
He causes to grow
لَكُم
lakum̃
for you
بِهِ
bihiz
with it
ٱلزَّرۡعَ
zarʻa
the crops
وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ
wazzaytoona
and the olives
وَٱلنَّخِيلَ
wannakheela
and the date-palms
وَٱلۡأَعۡنَٰبَ
wal-ʹaʻnaaba
and the grapes
وَمِن
wa-miñ
and of
كُلِّ
kullis̤
every kind
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۚ
s̤amaraat:
(of) fruits
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗ
laʹAayatal
surely (is) a sign
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaroon.
who reflect
١١
16:12
وَسَخَّرَ
Wa-sakhkhara
And He has subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumul
for you
ٱلَّيۡلَ
layla
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wannahaara
and the day
وَٱلشَّمۡسَ
washshamsa
and the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ
walq̣amar;
and the moon
وَٱلنُّجُومُ
wannujoomu
and the stars
مُسَخَّرَٰتُۢ
musakhkharaatum
(are) subjected
بِأَمۡرِهِۦٓۚ
biʹAmrih:
by His command
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laʹAayaatil
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يَعۡقِلُونَ
yaʻq̣iloon.
who use reason
١٢
16:13
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And whatever
ذَرَأَ
ẓaraʹa
He multiplied
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
مُخۡتَلِفًا
mukhtalifan
(of) varying
أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥٓۚ
ʹalwaanuh:
colors
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗ
laʹaayatal
surely (is) a sign
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
yaẓẓakkaroon.
who remember
١٣
16:14
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
سَخَّرَ
sakhkharal
subjected
ٱلۡبَحۡرَ
baḥra
the sea
لِتَأۡكُلُواْ
litaʹkuloo
for you to eat
مِنۡهُ
minhu
from it
لَحۡمٗا
laḥmañ
meat
طَرِيّٗا
ṭariyyañw
fresh
وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُواْ
watastakhrijoo
and that you bring forth
مِنۡهُ
minhu
from it
حِلۡيَةٗ
ḥilyatañ
ornaments
تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ
talbasoonahaa:
(that) you wear them
وَتَرَى
wa-taral
And you see
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
fulka
the ships
مَوَاخِرَ
mawaakhira
ploughing
فِيهِ
feehi
through it
وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ
wa-litabtag̣oo
and that you may seek
مِن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
faḍlihee
His Bounty
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
wa-laʻallakum
and that you may
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuroon.
(be) grateful

16:15
وَأَلۡقَىٰ
Wa-ʹalq̣aa
And He has cast
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
رَوَٰسِيَ
rawaasiya
firm mountains
أَن
ʹañ
lest
تَمِيدَ
tameeda
it should shake
بِكُمۡ
bikum
with you
وَأَنۡهَٰرٗا
wa-ʹanhaarañw
and rivers
وَسُبُلٗا
wasubulal
and roads
لَّعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تَهۡتَدُونَ
tahtadoon:
be guided
١٥
16:16
وَعَلَٰمَٰتٖۚ
Wa-ʻalaamaat;
And landmarks
وَبِٱلنَّجۡمِ
wa-binnajmi
And by the stars
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtadoon.
guide themselves
١٦
16:17
أَفَمَن
ʹAfamañy
Then is He Who
يَخۡلُقُ
yakhluq̣u
creates
كَمَن
kamal
like one who
لَّا
laa
(does) not
يَخۡلُقُۚ
yakhluq̣?
create
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
Then will you not
تَذَكَّرُونَ
taẓakkaroon?
remember
١٧
16:18
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَعُدُّواْ
taʻuddoo
you should count
نِعۡمَةَ
niʻmatal
the Favors of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
the Favors of Allah
لَا
laa-
not
تُحۡصُوهَآۗ
tuḥṣoohaa:
you could enumerate them
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَغَفُورٞ
la-G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
١٨
16:19
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
تُسِرُّونَ
tusirroona
you conceal
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
تُعۡلِنُونَ
tuʻlinoon.
you reveal
١٩
16:20
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those whom
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
they invoke
مِن
miñ
besides
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
لَا
laa-
not
يَخۡلُقُونَ
yakhluq̣oona
they create
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
anything
وَهُمۡ
wahum
but (are) themselves
يُخۡلَقُونَ
yukhlaq̣oon.
created
٢٠
16:21
أَمۡوَٰتٌ
ʹAmwaatun
(They are) dead
غَيۡرُ
g̣ayru
not alive
أَحۡيَآءٖۖ
ʹaḥyaaaʹ:
not alive
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yashʻuroona
they perceive
أَيَّانَ
ʹayyaana
when
يُبۡعَثُونَ
yubʻas̤oon.
they will be resurrected
٢١
16:22
إِلَٰهُكُمۡ
ʹIlaahukum
Your god
إِلَٰهٞ
ʹIlaahuñw
(is) God
وَٰحِدٞۚ
Waaḥid:
One
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fallaẓeena
But those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
believe
بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
bil-ʹAakhirati
in the Hereafter
قُلُوبُهُم
q̣uloobuhum
their hearts
مُّنكِرَةٞ
muñkiratuñw
refuse
وَهُم
wahum
and they
مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
mustakbiroon.
(are) arrogant
٢٢
16:23
لَا
Laa-
No doubt
جَرَمَ
jarama
No doubt
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
يُسِرُّونَ
yusirroona
they conceal
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
يُعۡلِنُونَۚ
yuʻlinoon:
they reveal
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
love
ٱلۡمُسۡتَكۡبِرِينَ
mustakbireen.
the arrogant ones
٢٣
16:24
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it is said
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مَّاذَآ
maaẓaaa
What
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
has your Lord sent down
رَبُّكُمۡ
Rabbukum
has your Lord sent down
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
They say
أَسَٰطِيرُ
ʹasaaṭeerul
Tales
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen?
(of) the ancient
٢٤
16:25
لِيَحۡمِلُوٓاْ
Liyaḥmilooo
That they may bear
أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ
ʹawzaarahum
their own burdens
كَامِلَةٗ
kaamilatañy
(in) full
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
on (the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَمِنۡ
wa-min
and of
أَوۡزَارِ
ʹawzaaril
the burdens
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those whom
يُضِلُّونَهُم
yuḍilloonahum̃
they misled [them]
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
without
عِلۡمٍۗ
ʻilm.
knowledge
أَلَا
ʹAlaa
Unquestionably
سَآءَ
saaaʹa
evil
مَا
maa-
(is) what
يَزِرُونَ
yaziroon!
they will bear
٢٥
