And inform them

إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
When
دَخَلُواْ
dakhaloo
they entered
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
upon him
فَقَالُواْ
faq̣aaloo
and said
سَلَٰمٗا
Salaamaa!
Peace
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
(are) of you
وَجِلُونَ
wajiloon!
afraid
٥٢
15:53
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَوۡجَلۡ
tawjal
be afraid
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed we
نُبَشِّرُكَ
nubashshiruka
[we] bring glad tidings to you
بِغُلَٰمٍ
big̣ulaamin
of a boy
عَلِيمٖ
ʻaleem.
learned
٥٣
15:54
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي
ʹabashshartumoonee
Do you give me glad tidings
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
Do you give me glad tidings
أَن
ʹam
although
مَّسَّنِيَ
massaniyal
has overtaken me
ٱلۡكِبَرُ
kibaru
old age
فَبِمَ
fabima
Then about what
تُبَشِّرُونَ
tubashshiroon?
you give glad tidings
٥٤
15:55
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ
bashsharnaaka
We give you glad tidings
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in truth
فَلَا
falaa
so (do) not
تَكُن
takum
be
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ
q̣aaniṭeen!
the despairing
٥٥
15:56
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And who
يَقۡنَطُ
yaq̣naṭu
despairs
مِن
mir
of
رَّحۡمَةِ
Raḥmati
(the) Mercy
رَبِّهِۦٓ
Rabbiheee
(of) his Lord
إِلَّا
ʹillaḍ
except
ٱلضَّآلُّونَ
ḍaaalloon?
those who are astray
٥٦
15:57
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَمَا
famaa
Then what
خَطۡبُكُمۡ
khaṭbukum
(is) your business
أَيُّهَا
ʹayyuhal
O messengers
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
Mursaloon?
O messengers
٥٧
15:58
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed we
أُرۡسِلۡنَآ
ʹursilnaaa
[we] have been sent
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
قَوۡمٖ
q̣awmim
a people
مُّجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeen.
criminals
٥٨
15:59
إِلَّآ
ʹIllaa
Except
ءَالَ
ʹAala
the family
لُوطٍ
Looṭ:
of Lut
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed we
لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ
lamunajjoohum
surely will save them
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen,―
all
٥٩
15:60
إِلَّا
ʹIllam
Except
ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ
raʹatahoo
his wife
قَدَّرۡنَآ
q̣addarnaaa
We have decreed
إِنَّهَا
ʹinnahaa
that she
لَمِنَ
laminal
(is) surely of
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
g̣aabireen.
those who remain behind
٦٠
15:61
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
And when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
came
ءَالَ
ʹAala
(to the) family
لُوطٍ
Looṭinil
(of) Lut
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
mursaloon.
the messengers
٦١
15:62
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹinnakum
Indeed you
قَوۡمٞ
q̣awmum
(are) a people
مُّنكَرُونَ
muñkaroon.
unknown
٦٢
15:63
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
جِئۡنَٰكَ
jiʹnaaka
we have come to you
بِمَا
bimaa
with what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
يَمۡتَرُونَ
yamtaroon.
disputing
٦٣
15:64
وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ
Wa-ʹataynaaka
And we have come to you
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-Ḥaq̣q̣i
with the truth
وَإِنَّا
wa-ʹinnaa
and indeed we
لَصَٰدِقُونَ
laṣaadiq̣oon.
surely (are) truthful
٦٤
15:65
فَأَسۡرِ
Faʹasri
So travel
بِأَهۡلِكَ
biʹahlika
with your family
بِقِطۡعٖ
biq̣iṭʻim
in a portion
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the night
وَٱتَّبِعۡ
wattabiʻ
and follow
أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ
adbaarahum
their backs
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَلۡتَفِتۡ
yaltafit
let look back
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
أَحَدٞ
ʹaḥaduñw
anyone
وَٱمۡضُواْ
wamḍoo
and go on
حَيۡثُ
ḥays̤u
where
تُؤۡمَرُونَ
tuʹmaroon.
you are ordered
٦٥
15:66
وَقَضَيۡنَآ
Wa-q̣aḍaynaaa
And We conveyed
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to him
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalikal
[that]
ٱلۡأَمۡرَ
ʹamra
the matter
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
دَابِرَ
daabira
(the) root
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
(of) these
مَقۡطُوعٞ
maq̣ṭooʻum
would be cut off
مُّصۡبِحِينَ
muṣbiḥeen.
(by) early morning
٦٦
15:67
وَجَآءَ
Wa-jaaaʹa
And came
أَهۡلُ
ʹahlul
(the) people
ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ
Madeenati
(of) the city
يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ
yastabshiroon.
rejoicing
٦٧
15:68
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
ضَيۡفِي
ḍayfee
(are) my guests
فَلَا
falaa
so (do) not
تَفۡضَحُونِ
tafḍaḥoon:
shame me
٦٨
15:69
وَٱتَّقُواْ
Wattaq̣ul
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تُخۡزُونِ
tukhzoon.
disgrace me
٦٩
15:70
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹawalam
Did not
نَنۡهَكَ
nanhaka
we forbid you
عَنِ
ʻanil
from
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen?
the world
٧٠

15:71
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
These
بَنَاتِيٓ
banaateee
(are) my daughters
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you would be
فَٰعِلِينَ
faaʻileen.
doers
٧١
15:72
لَعَمۡرُكَ
Laʻamruka
By your life
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
لَفِي
lafee
were in
سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ
sakratihim
their intoxication
يَعۡمَهُونَ
yaʻmahoon.
wandering blindly
٧٢
15:73
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ
Faʹakhaẓathumuṣ
So seized them
ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ
Ṣayḥatu
the awful cry
مُشۡرِقِينَ
mushriq̣een.
at sunrise
٧٣
15:74
فَجَعَلۡنَا
Fajaʻalnaa
And We made
عَٰلِيَهَا
ʻaaliyahaa
its highest (part)
سَافِلَهَا
saafilahaa
its lowest
وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا
wa-ʹamṭarnaa
and We rained
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
حِجَارَةٗ
ḥijaaratam
stones
مِّن
miñ
of
سِجِّيلٍ
sijjeel.
baked clay
٧٤
15:75
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laʹAayaatil
(are) the Signs
لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
lilmutawassimeen.
for those who discern
٧٥
