14:27
يُثَبِّتُ
yuthabbitu
Allah keeps firm
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah keeps firm
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bil-qawli
with the firm word
ٱلثَّابِتِ
al-thabiti
with the firm word
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
al-hayati
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَفِي
wafi
and in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
وَيُضِلُّ
wayudillu
And Allah lets go astray
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah lets go astray
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَۚ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
وَيَفۡعَلُ
wayaf 'alu
And Allah does
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah does
مَا
ma
what
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
٢٧
14:28
۞أَلَمۡ
alam
Have not
تَرَ
tara
you seen
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
بَدَّلُواْ
baddalu
(have) changed
نِعۡمَتَ
ni'mata
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
كُفۡرٗا
kuf'ran
(for) disbelief
وَأَحَلُّواْ
wa-ahallu
and they led
قَوۡمَهُمۡ
qawmahum
their people
دَارَ
dara
(to the) house
ٱلۡبَوَارِ
al-bawari
(of) destruction
٢٨
14:29
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ
yaslawnaha
(in) it they will burn
وَبِئۡسَ
wabi'sa
and a wretched
ٱلۡقَرَارُ
al-qararu
place to settle
٢٩
14:30
وَجَعَلُواْ
waja'alu
And they set up
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
أَندَادٗا
andadan
equals
لِّيُضِلُّواْ
liyudillu
so that they mislead
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِهِۦۗ
sabilihi
His Path
قُلۡ
qul
Say
تَمَتَّعُواْ
tamatta'u
Enjoy
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
but indeed
مَصِيرَكُمۡ
masirakum
your destination
إِلَى
ila
(is) to
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
٣٠
14:31
قُل
qul
Say
لِّعِبَادِيَ
li'ibadiya
to My slaves
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
يُقِيمُواْ
yuqimu
(to) establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayers
وَيُنفِقُواْ
wayunfiqu
and (to) spend
مِمَّا
mimma
from what
رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
razaqnahum
We have provided them
سِرّٗا
sirran
secretly
وَعَلَانِيَةٗ
wa'alaniyatan
and publicly
مِّن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَأۡتِيَ
yatiya
comes
يَوۡمٞ
yawmun
a Day
لَّا
la
not
بَيۡعٞ
bay'un
any trade
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
وَلَا
wala
and not
خِلَٰلٌ
khilalun
any friendship
٣١
14:32
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
وَأَنزَلَ
wa-anzala
and sent down
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
مَآءٗ
maan
water
فَأَخۡرَجَ
fa-akhraja
then brought forth
بِهِۦ
bihi
from it
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
al-thamarati
the fruits
رِزۡقٗا
riz'qan
(as) a provision
لَّكُمۡۖ
lakum
for you
وَسَخَّرَ
wasakhara
and subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
al-ful'ka
the ships
لِتَجۡرِيَ
litajriya
so that they may sail
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
al-bahri
the sea
بِأَمۡرِهِۦۖ
bi-amrihi
by His command
وَسَخَّرَ
wasakhara
and subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ
al-anhara
the rivers
٣٢
14:33
وَسَخَّرَ
wasakhara
And He subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
al-shamsa
the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَ
wal-qamara
and the moon
دَآئِبَيۡنِۖ
daibayni
both constantly pursuing their courses
وَسَخَّرَ
wasakhara
and subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلَّيۡلَ
al-layla
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wal-nahara
and the day

وَءَاتَىٰكُم
waatakum
And He gave you
مِّن
min
of
كُلِّ
kulli
all
مَا
ma
what
سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ
sa-altumuhu
you asked of Him
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تَعُدُّواْ
ta'uddu
you count
نِعۡمَتَ
ni'mata
(the) Favor of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) Favor of Allah
لَا
la
not
تُحۡصُوهَآۗ
tuh'suha
you will (be able to) count them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
the mankind
لَظَلُومٞ
lazalumun
(is) surely unjust
كَفَّارٞ
kaffarun
(and) ungrateful
٣٤
14:35
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَ
qala
said
إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
ib'rahimu
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱجۡعَلۡ
ij'al
Make
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلۡبَلَدَ
al-balada
city
ءَامِنٗا
aminan
safe
وَٱجۡنُبۡنِي
wa-uj'nub'ni
and keep me away
وَبَنِيَّ
wabaniyya
and my sons
أَن
an
that
نَّعۡبُدَ
na'buda
we worship
ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ
al-asnama
the idols
٣٥
14:36
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
إِنَّهُنَّ
innahunna
Indeed they
أَضۡلَلۡنَ
adlalna
have led astray
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلنَّاسِۖ
al-nasi
the mankind
فَمَن
faman
So whoever
تَبِعَنِي
tabi'ani
follows me
فَإِنَّهُۥ
fa-innahu
then indeed he
مِنِّيۖ
minni
(is) of me
وَمَنۡ
waman
and whoever
عَصَانِي
asani
disobeys me
فَإِنَّكَ
fa-innaka
then indeed You
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(are) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٣٦
14:37
رَّبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَسۡكَنتُ
askantu
[I] have settled
مِن
min
(some) of
ذُرِّيَّتِي
dhurriyyati
my offsprings
بِوَادٍ
biwadin
in a valley
غَيۡرِ
ghayri
not
ذِي
dhi
with
زَرۡعٍ
zar'in
cultivation
عِندَ
inda
near
بَيۡتِكَ
baytika
Your Sacred House
ٱلۡمُحَرَّمِ
al-muharami
Your Sacred House
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
our Lord
لِيُقِيمُواْ
liyuqimu
That they may establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayers
فَٱجۡعَلۡ
fa-ij'al
So make
أَفۡـِٔدَةٗ
afidatan
hearts
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the men
تَهۡوِيٓ
tahwi
incline
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
towards them
وَٱرۡزُقۡهُم
wa-ur'zuq'hum
and provide them
مِّنَ
mina
with
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
al-thamarati
the fruits
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَشۡكُرُونَ
yashkuruna
be grateful
٣٧
14:38
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
تَعۡلَمُ
ta'lamu
You know
مَا
ma
what
نُخۡفِي
nukh'fi
we conceal
وَمَا
wama
and what
نُعۡلِنُۗ
nu'linu
we proclaim
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَخۡفَىٰ
yakhfa
(is) hidden
عَلَى
ala
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَلَا
wala
and not
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heaven
٣٨
14:39
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All the Praise
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(is) for Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
وَهَبَ
wahaba
has granted
لِي
li
me
عَلَى
ala
in
ٱلۡكِبَرِ
al-kibari
the old age
إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
is'ma'ila
Ishmael
وَإِسۡحَٰقَۚ
wa-is'haqa
and Isaac
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبِّي
rabbi
my Lord
لَسَمِيعُ
lasami'u
(is) All-Hearer
ٱلدُّعَآءِ
al-du'ai
(of) the prayer
٣٩
14:40
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱجۡعَلۡنِي
ij'alni
Make me
مُقِيمَ
muqima
an establisher
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
al-salati
(of) the prayer
وَمِن
wamin
and from
ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ
dhurriyyati
my offsprings
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
وَتَقَبَّلۡ
wataqabbal
and accept
دُعَآءِ
du'ai
my prayer
٤٠
14:41
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
ٱغۡفِرۡ
igh'fir
Forgive
لِي
li
me
وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ
waliwalidayya
and my parents
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
walil'mu'minina
and the believers
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on) the Day
يَقُومُ
yaqumu
will (be) established
ٱلۡحِسَابُ
al-hisabu
the account
٤١
14:42
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّ
tahsabanna
think
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(that) Allah
غَٰفِلًا
ghafilan
(is) unaware
عَمَّا
amma
of what
يَعۡمَلُ
ya'malu
do
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَۚ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ
yu-akhiruhum
He gives them respite
لِيَوۡمٖ
liyawmin
to a Day
تَشۡخَصُ
tashkhasu
will stare
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
al-absaru
the eyes

مُهۡطِعِينَ
muh'ti'ina
Racing ahead
مُقۡنِعِي
muq'ni'i
raised up
رُءُوسِهِمۡ
ruusihim
their heads
لَا
la
not
يَرۡتَدُّ
yartaddu
returning
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
towards them
طَرۡفُهُمۡۖ
tarfuhum
their gaze
وَأَفۡـِٔدَتُهُمۡ
wa-afidatuhum
and their hearts
هَوَآءٞ
hawaon
(are) empty
٤٣
14:44
وَأَنذِرِ
wa-andhiri
And warn
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
the mankind
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(of) a Day
يَأۡتِيهِمُ
yatihimu
(when) will come to them
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
فَيَقُولُ
fayaqulu
then will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
did wrong
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
أَخِّرۡنَآ
akhir'na
Respite us
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
قَرِيبٖ
qaribin
short
نُّجِبۡ
nujib
we will answer
دَعۡوَتَكَ
da'wataka
Your call
وَنَتَّبِعِ
wanattabi'i
and we will follow
ٱلرُّسُلَۗ
al-rusula
the Messengers
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Had not
تَكُونُوٓاْ
takunu
you
أَقۡسَمۡتُم
aqsamtum
sworn
مِّن
min
before
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
any
زَوَالٖ
zawalin
end
٤٤
14:45
وَسَكَنتُمۡ
wasakantum
And you dwelt
فِي
fi
in
مَسَٰكِنِ
masakini
the dwellings
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
ظَلَمُوٓاْ
zalamu
wronged
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
themselves
وَتَبَيَّنَ
watabayyana
and it had become clear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
فَعَلۡنَا
fa'alna
We dealt
بِهِمۡ
bihim
with them
وَضَرَبۡنَا
wadarabna
and We put forth
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ
al-amthala
the examples
٤٥
14:46
وَقَدۡ
waqad
And indeed
مَكَرُواْ
makaru
they planned
مَكۡرَهُمۡ
makrahum
their plan
وَعِندَ
wa'inda
but with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَكۡرُهُمۡ
makruhum
(was) their plan
وَإِن
wa-in
even if
كَانَ
kana
was
مَكۡرُهُمۡ
makruhum
their plan
لِتَزُولَ
litazula
that should be moved
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
by it
ٱلۡجِبَالُ
al-jibalu
the mountains
٤٦
14:47
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّ
tahsabanna
think
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(that) Allah
مُخۡلِفَ
mukh'lifa
will fail
وَعۡدِهِۦ
wa'dihi
(to) keep His Promise
رُسُلَهُۥٓۚ
rusulahu
(to) His Messengers
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَزِيزٞ
azizun
(is) All-Mighty
ذُو
dhu
Owner (of) Retribution
ٱنتِقَامٖ
intiqamin
Owner (of) Retribution
٤٧
14:48
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On the) Day
تُبَدَّلُ
tubaddalu
will be changed
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
al-ardu
the earth
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
(to) other (than)
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُۖ
wal-samawatu
and the heavens
وَبَرَزُواْ
wabarazu
and they will come forth
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
before Allah
ٱلۡوَٰحِدِ
al-wahidi
the One
ٱلۡقَهَّارِ
al-qahari
the Irresistible
٤٨
14:49
وَتَرَى
watara
And you will see
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
the criminals
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawma-idhin
(on) that Day
مُّقَرَّنِينَ
muqarranina
bound together
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ
al-asfadi
the chains
٤٩
14:50
سَرَابِيلُهُم
sarabiluhum
Their garments
مِّن
min
of
قَطِرَانٖ
qatiranin
tar
وَتَغۡشَىٰ
wataghsha
and will cover
وُجُوهَهُمُ
wujuhahumu
their faces
ٱلنَّارُ
al-naru
the Fire
٥٠
