ٱلۡأَرۡضِ

(of) the earth
مَا
maa-
not
لَهَا

for it
مِن
miñ
(is) any
قَرَارٖ
q̣araar.
stability

14:27
يُثَبِّتُ
Yus̤abbitul
Allah keeps firm
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah keeps firm
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bil-Q̣awlis̤
with the firm word
ٱلثَّابِتِ
S̤aabiti
with the firm word
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَفِي
wa-fil
and in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
ʹAakhirah;
the Hereafter
وَيُضِلُّ
wa-yuḍillul
And Allah lets go astray
ٱللَّهُ
laahuz̤̣
And Allah lets go astray
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَۚ
z̤̣aalimeena
the wrongdoers
وَيَفۡعَلُ
wayafʻalul
And Allah does
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah does
مَا
maa-
what
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹ.
He wills
٢٧
14:28
۞أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Have not
تَرَ
tara
you seen
إِلَى
ʹilal
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
بَدَّلُواْ
baddaloo
(have) changed
نِعۡمَتَ
niʻmatal
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
كُفۡرٗا
kufrañw
(for) disbelief
وَأَحَلُّواْ
waʹaḥalloo
and they led
قَوۡمَهُمۡ
q̣awmahum
their people
دَارَ
Daaral
(to the) house
ٱلۡبَوَارِ
Bawaar.―
(of) destruction
٢٨
14:29
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
Hell
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ
yaṣlawnahaa,
(in) it they will burn
وَبِئۡسَ
wa-biʹsal
and a wretched
ٱلۡقَرَارُ
q̣araar!
place to settle
٢٩
14:30
وَجَعَلُواْ
Wa-jaʻaloo
And they set up
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
to Allah
أَندَادٗا
ʹañdaadal
equals
لِّيُضِلُّواْ
liyuḍilloo
so that they mislead
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِهِۦۗ
Sabeelih!
His Path
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
تَمَتَّعُواْ
tamattaʻoo
Enjoy
فَإِنَّ
faʹinna
but indeed
مَصِيرَكُمۡ
maṣeerakum
your destination
إِلَى
ʹilan
(is) to
ٱلنَّارِ
Naar!
the Fire
٣٠
14:31
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لِّعِبَادِيَ
liʻibaadiyal
to My slaves
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
يُقِيمُواْ
yuq̣eemuṣ
(to) establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
ṣalaata
the prayers
وَيُنفِقُواْ
wa-yuñfiq̣oo
and (to) spend
مِمَّا
mimmaa
from what
رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
razaq̣naahum
We have provided them
سِرّٗا
sirrañw
secretly
وَعَلَانِيَةٗ
waʻalaaniyatam
and publicly
مِّن
miñ
before
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَأۡتِيَ
yaʹtiya
comes
يَوۡمٞ
Yawmul
a Day
لَّا
laa
not
بَيۡعٞ
bayʻuñ
any trade
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
خِلَٰلٌ
khilaal.
any friendship
٣١
14:32
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahul
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣as
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
وَأَنزَلَ
wa-ʹañzala
and sent down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaʹi
the sky
مَآءٗ
maaaʹañ
water
فَأَخۡرَجَ
faʹakhraja
then brought forth
بِهِۦ
bihee
from it
مِنَ
minas̤
of
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
s̤amaraati
the fruits
رِزۡقٗا
rizq̣al
(as) a provision
لَّكُمۡۖ
lakum:
for you
وَسَخَّرَ
wa-sakhkhara
and subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumul
for you
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
fulka
the ships
لِتَجۡرِيَ
litajriya
so that they may sail
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
baḥri
the sea
بِأَمۡرِهِۦۖ
biʹAmrih:
by His command
وَسَخَّرَ
wa-sakhkhara
and subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumul
for you
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ
ʹanhaar.
the rivers
٣٢
14:33
وَسَخَّرَ
Wa-sakhkhara
And He subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumush
for you
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
shamsa
the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَ
walq̣amara
and the moon
دَآئِبَيۡنِۖ
daaaʹibayni;
both constantly pursuing their courses
وَسَخَّرَ
wa-sakhkhara
and subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumul
for you
ٱلَّيۡلَ
layla
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wan-Nahaar.
and the day

وَءَاتَىٰكُم
Waʹaataakum
And He gave you
مِّن
miñ
of
كُلِّ
kulli
all
مَا
maa-
what
سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ
saʹaltumooh.
you asked of Him
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَعُدُّواْ
taʻuddoo
you count
نِعۡمَتَ
niʻmatal
(the) Favor of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) Favor of Allah
لَا
laa-
not
تُحۡصُوهَآۗ
tuḥṣoohaa.
you will (be able to) count them
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
ʹiñsaana
the mankind
لَظَلُومٞ
laz̤̣aloomuñ
(is) surely unjust
كَفَّارٞ
kaffaar.
(and) ungrateful
٣٤
14:35
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
ʹIbraaheemu
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
Rabbij
My Lord
ٱجۡعَلۡ
ʻal
Make
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
this
ٱلۡبَلَدَ
Balada
city
ءَامِنٗا
ʹaaminañw
safe
وَٱجۡنُبۡنِي
wajnubnee
and keep me away
وَبَنِيَّ
wa-baniyya
and my sons
أَن
ʹan
that
نَّعۡبُدَ
naʻbudal
we worship
ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ
ʹaṣnaam.
the idols
٣٥
14:36
رَبِّ
Rabbi
My Lord
إِنَّهُنَّ
ʹinnahunna
Indeed they
أَضۡلَلۡنَ
ʹaḍlalna
have led astray
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنَ
minan
among
ٱلنَّاسِۖ
naas;
the mankind
فَمَن
famañ
So whoever
تَبِعَنِي
tabiʻanee
follows me
فَإِنَّهُۥ
faʹinnahoo
then indeed he
مِنِّيۖ
minnee,
(is) of me
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
and whoever
عَصَانِي
ʻaṣaanee
disobeys me
فَإِنَّكَ
faʹinnaka
then indeed You
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(are) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٣٦
14:37
رَّبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
إِنِّيٓ
ʹinneee
Indeed I
أَسۡكَنتُ
ʹaskañtu
[I] have settled
مِن
miñ
(some) of
ذُرِّيَّتِي
ẓurriyyatee
my offsprings
بِوَادٍ
biwaadin
in a valley
غَيۡرِ
g̣ayri
not
ذِي
ẓee
with
زَرۡعٍ
zarʻin
cultivation
عِندَ
ʻiñda
near
بَيۡتِكَ
Baytikal
Your Sacred House
ٱلۡمُحَرَّمِ
Muḥarrami
Your Sacred House
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
our Lord
لِيُقِيمُواْ
liyuq̣eemus
That they may establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayers
فَٱجۡعَلۡ
fajʻal
So make
أَفۡـِٔدَةٗ
ʹafʹidatam
hearts
مِّنَ
minan
of
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the men
تَهۡوِيٓ
tahweee
incline
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
towards them
وَٱرۡزُقۡهُم
warzuq̣hum
and provide them
مِّنَ
minas̤
with
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
s̤amaraati
the fruits
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَشۡكُرُونَ
yashkuroon.
be grateful
٣٧
14:38
رَبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
إِنَّكَ
ʹinnaka
Indeed You
تَعۡلَمُ
taʻlamu
You know
مَا
maa-
what
نُخۡفِي
nukhfee
we conceal
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
نُعۡلِنُۗ
nuʻlin:
we proclaim
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
يَخۡفَىٰ
yakhfaa
(is) hidden
عَلَى
ʻalal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مِن
miñ
any
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹ.
the heaven
٣٨
14:39
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
ʹAl-Ḥamdu
All the Praise
لِلَّهِ
lillaahil
(is) for Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One Who
وَهَبَ
wahaba
has granted
لِي
lee
me
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱلۡكِبَرِ
kibari
the old age
إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
ʹIsmaaʻeela
Ishmael
وَإِسۡحَٰقَۚ
wa-ʹIsḥaaq̣:
and Isaac
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
لَسَمِيعُ
la-Sameeʻud
(is) All-Hearer
ٱلدُّعَآءِ
duʻaaaʹ!
(of) the prayer
٣٩
14:40
رَبِّ
Rabbij
My Lord
ٱجۡعَلۡنِي
ʻalnee
Make me
مُقِيمَ
muq̣eemaṣ
an establisher
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
Ṣalaati
(of) the prayer
وَمِن
wa-miñ
and from
ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ
ẓurriyyatee,
my offsprings
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
وَتَقَبَّلۡ
wa-taq̣abbal
and accept
دُعَآءِ
Duʻaaaʹ.
my prayer
٤٠
14:41
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanag̣
Our Lord
ٱغۡفِرۡ
fir
Forgive
لِي
lee
me
وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ
wa-liwaalidayya
and my parents
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
wa-lil-Muʹmineena
and the believers
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(on) the Day
يَقُومُ
yaq̣oomul
will (be) established
ٱلۡحِسَابُ
Ḥisaab!
the account
٤١
14:42
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّ
taḥsabannal
think
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(that) Allah
غَٰفِلًا
g̣aafilan
(is) unaware
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
of what
يَعۡمَلُ
yaʻmaluz̤̣
do
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَۚ
z̤̣aalimoon.
the wrongdoers
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ
yuʹakhkhiruhum
He gives them respite
لِيَوۡمٖ
li-Yawmiñ
to a Day
تَشۡخَصُ
tashkhaṣu
will stare
فِيهِ
feehil
in it
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
ʹabṣaar,―
the eyes
٤٢

مُهۡطِعِينَ
Muhṭiʻeena
Racing ahead
مُقۡنِعِي
muq̣niʻee
raised up
رُءُوسِهِمۡ
ruʹoosihim
their heads
لَا
laa-
not
يَرۡتَدُّ
yartaddu
returning
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
towards them
طَرۡفُهُمۡۖ
ṭarfuhum,
their gaze
وَأَفۡـِٔدَتُهُمۡ
wa-ʹafʹidatuhum
and their hearts
هَوَآءٞ
hawaaaʹ!
(are) empty
٤٣
14:44
وَأَنذِرِ
Wa-ʹañẓirin
And warn
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
the mankind
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(of) a Day
يَأۡتِيهِمُ
yaʹteehimul
(when) will come to them
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻAẓaabu
the punishment
فَيَقُولُ
fayaq̣oolul
then will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
did wrong
رَبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
أَخِّرۡنَآ
ʹakhkhirnaaa
Respite us
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
for
أَجَلٖ
ʹajaliñ
a term
قَرِيبٖ
q̣areebin
short
نُّجِبۡ
nujib
we will answer
دَعۡوَتَكَ
Daʻwataka
Your call
وَنَتَّبِعِ
wa-nattabiʻir
and we will follow
ٱلرُّسُلَۗ
rusul!
the Messengers
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Had not
تَكُونُوٓاْ
takoonooo
you
أَقۡسَمۡتُم
ʹaq̣samtum
sworn
مِّن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
مَا
maa-
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
miñ
any
زَوَالٖ
zawaal?
end
٤٤
14:45
وَسَكَنتُمۡ
Wa-sakañtum
And you dwelt
فِي
fee
in
مَسَٰكِنِ
masaakinil
the dwellings
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
ظَلَمُوٓاْ
z̤̣alamooo
wronged
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
وَتَبَيَّنَ
wa-tabayyana
and it had become clear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
فَعَلۡنَا
faʻalnaa
We dealt
بِهِمۡ
bihim
with them
وَضَرَبۡنَا
wa-ḍarabnaa
and We put forth
لَكُمُ
lakumul
for you
ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ
ʹAms̤aal!
the examples
٤٥
14:46
وَقَدۡ
Wa-q̣ad
And indeed
مَكَرُواْ
makaroo
they planned
مَكۡرَهُمۡ
makrahum:
their plan
وَعِندَ
wa-ʻindal
but with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مَكۡرُهُمۡ
makruhum:
(was) their plan
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
even if
كَانَ
kaana
was
مَكۡرُهُمۡ
makruhum
their plan
لِتَزُولَ
litazoola
that should be moved
مِنۡهُ
minhul
by it
ٱلۡجِبَالُ
jibaal!
the mountains
٤٦
14:47
فَلَا
Falaa
So (do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّ
taḥsabannal
think
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(that) Allah
مُخۡلِفَ
mukhlifa
will fail
وَعۡدِهِۦ
waʻdihee
(to) keep His Promise
رُسُلَهُۥٓۚ
rusulah:
(to) His Messengers
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَزِيزٞ
ʻAzeezuñ
(is) All-Mighty
ذُو
Ẓuñ
Owner (of) Retribution
ٱنتِقَامٖ
tiq̣aam.
Owner (of) Retribution
٤٧
14:48
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(On the) Day
تُبَدَّلُ
tubaddalul
will be changed
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
ʹArḍu
the earth
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayral
(to) other (than)
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹArḍi
the earth
وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُۖ
was-Samaawaatu
and the heavens
وَبَرَزُواْ
wa-barazoo
and they will come forth
لِلَّهِ
lillaahil
before Allah
ٱلۡوَٰحِدِ
Waaḥidil
the One
ٱلۡقَهَّارِ
Q̣ahhaar;
the Irresistible
٤٨
14:49
وَتَرَى
Wa-taral
And you will see
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
Mujrimeena
the criminals
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawmaʹiẓim
(on) that Day
مُّقَرَّنِينَ
muq̣arraneena
bound together
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ
ʹaṣfaad;
the chains
٤٩
14:50
سَرَابِيلُهُم
Saraabeeluhum
Their garments
مِّن
miñ
of
قَطِرَانٖ
q̣aṭiraaniñw
tar
وَتَغۡشَىٰ
watag̣shaa
and will cover
وُجُوهَهُمُ
wujoohahumun
their faces
ٱلنَّارُ
Naar:
the Fire
