لِإِيلَٰفِ
liilafi
For (the) familiarity
قُرَيۡشٍ
qurayshin
(of the) Quraish

[He did this] to make the Quraysh feel secure

Their familiarity
رِحۡلَةَ

(with the) journey
ٱلشِّتَآءِ
al-shitai
(of) winter
وَٱلصَّيۡفِ
wal-sayfi
and summer

secure in their winter and summer journeys

فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ
falya'budu
So let them worship
رَبَّ
rabba
(the) Lord
هَٰذَا
hadha
(of) this
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
al-bayti
House

So let them worship the Lord of this House

ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
The One Who
أَطۡعَمَهُم
at'amahum
feeds them
مِّن
min
[from]
جُوعٖ
ju'in
(against) hunger
وَءَامَنَهُم
waamanahum
and gives them security
مِّنۡ
min
from
خَوۡفِۭ
khawfin
fear
٤
who provides them with food to ward off hunger, safety to ward off fear
