يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(you) who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe
إِذَا
idha
When
نُودِيَ
nudiya
(the) call is made
لِلصَّلَوٰةِ
lilssalati
for (the) prayer
مِن
min
on
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
(the) day
ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ
al-jumu'ati
(of) Friday
فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ
fa-is'aw
then hasten
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
ذِكۡرِ
dhik'ri
(the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَذَرُواْ
wadharu
and leave
ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ
al-bay'a
the business
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
know
٩
Believers! When the call to prayer is made on the day of congregation, hurry towards the reminder of God and leave off your trading––that is better for you, if only you knew––
