وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
wal-'asri
By the time

By the declining day
Translation 1260
Al-'Asr 103:2

ﲪﲫﲮﲴ
103:2
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
mankind
لَفِي
lafi
(is) surely in
خُسۡرٍ
khus'rin
loss
٢
man is [deep] in loss
Translation 1260
103:3
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ
watawasaw
and enjoin (each other)
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
to the truth
وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ
watawasaw
and enjoin (each other)
بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
bil-sabri
to [the] patience
٣
except for those who believe, do good deeds, urge one another to the truth, and urge one another to steadfastness
