Dua When Something Bad Happens (Masnoon Dua)

When a person of Allah faces a problem, he should say -

#47

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِيْ فِي مُصِيْبَتِيْ وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا

Transliteration

Innaa lillaahi wa 'innaa 'ilayhi raaji'oon, Allaahumma'-jurni fee museebatee wa 'akhliflee khayran minhaa

Translation

We are from Allah and unto Him we return. O Allah take me out of my plight and bring to me after it something better.

Note

Umm Salama (RA) said the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told us: When a Muslim faces trouble and says what Allah told him - (The dua is above) Allah will replace it with something better.
