رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Translation
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
People often say: Allahumma inni as'aluka al-jannah wa a'oodhu bika min an-nar. This asks Allah for Jannah and safety from the fire. It's a famous Islamic dua for Paradise.
Rabbana duas start with asking Allah for things like mercy and help. The Quran has these prayers. Muslims use them when they need Allah's support for themselves and others.
For family safety, Muslims read Surah Fatihah, Surah Nas, Surah Falaq, Surah Ikhlas, and Ayatul Kursi. These are known to give strong protection. People read them in daily salah and at bedtime.
