Ask for a Blessed Place to Stay (Surah Al-Mu'minun)

From Surah Al-Mu'minun comes this prayer: رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ. It asks Allah for a good and blessed place to stay. Muslims say this Islamic dua when looking for a new home.

When you arrive at a hotel or any new place, say a dua. It asks Allah for safety and good things while traveling or staying somewhere new.

Say this when entering your new home: Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Allahi Rabbina tawakkalna. This prayer brings blessings and asks for Allah's help in your new house.

Before sleep, Muslims say Qul audhu bi kalimati' llahi't-tammati min ghadabihi wa iqabihi wa sharri ibadihi wa min hamazati' sh-shayatin wa an yahdurun. This brings calm and peaceful rest.

For blessings in a new home, say Bismillah, Allahumma inni as'aluka khayral-mawliji wa khayral-makhraji. This asks for the best entering and leaving. Include this in your Islamic prayers for the new house.
