رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Translation
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
A muslim remembers Allah's gifts through this prayer and asks for good Amal. It makes hearts soft and thankful while asking blessings for yourself and your parents in all of life.
The meaning is: My Lord, help me thank You for Your gifts to me and my parents. Help me do good things You like. Make me one of Your good people by Your mercy.
Verse 27 19 talks about Prophet Solomon. He smiled at the ant's words and prayed. He thanked Allah for blessings on him and his parents. He asked Allah to help him do good things Allah likes.
Surah Naml helps us learn stories about Allah's prophets. It reminds us of Allah's power and wisdom. It gives lessons about believing in Allah and brings hope and right ways to our hearts.
A common way to thank Allah is Allahumma inna shukruka ni3mah. This tells Allah you are truly thankful. You praise Allah who is the only one who should be thanked.
Sūrat al-Shukr is called the Surah of Thankfulness. Many Muslims read this surah or verses like in Surah Naml to say thank you and learn to thank Allah every day.
