اَللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ، وَأَطِلْ حَيَاتَهُ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُ
Transliteration
Allaahumma akthir maalahu wa waladahu wa atil hayaatahu waghfir lahu
Translation
O Allah! Increase his wealth and children, and bestow Your Blessing on whatever You give him.\
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خَادِمُكَ أَنَسٌ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ. قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ " .
Translation
Narrated Anas: My mother said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Please invoke Allah on behalf of your servant." He said, "O Allah! Increase his wealth and children, and bestow Your Blessing on whatever You give him." a time of distress. [Bukhari: 6344]
The Prophet prayed: Give him more money, many children, a long life, and forgive him. Muslims learn from this to ask Allah for all kinds of good things.
This dua protects you from harm and bad people. Say it after Fajr prayer. When life is hard, say it more. Children and adults both find comfort in it.
To stay away from Hellfire, say Allaahumma Ajirni Minan Naar. It means: O Allah, save me from Hellfire. The Prophet said: Ask for Paradise three times, and Paradise will call you.
Say Allahumma infa'nii bimaa 'allamtanii wa'allimnii maa yanfa'uunii. This asks Allah: Help me use what I learned and teach me useful things. Good for school and tests.
Prophet Ibrahim prayed: My Lord, give me good children. Parents see this in islamic prayers. It shows us to ask Allah for kind, righteous kids.
