Transliteration

Allaahumma Inni As'aluka Imaanan Laa Yartaddu Wa Na'eeman Laa Yanfadu Wa Muraafaqata Nabyyinaa (ﷺ) Fee A'laa Jannatil-Khuld.

Translation

O Allah, I ask you for such Imaan that does not waver and tranquility that does not diminish and the companionship of our Prophet (ﷺ) in high stations of everlasting Jannah.

Note

Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) tells this story: I was praying at the mosque. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came in with Abu Bakr (RA) and 'Umar (RA). I read surah An-Nisah out loud. When I finished, I praised Allah and sent salah upon the Prophet (ﷺ). Then I made dua for myself. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: Ask! You will get what you want. Then He (ﷺ) also said: If someone wants to read the Qur'an in its pure form, read it like Ibn Umm 'Abd (Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud). I went home after that. Abu Bakr (RA) visited me and asked: Do you remember what you asked for in your dua? I said yes, and told him the dua above. Later, 'Umar (RA) came to see me too. He saw Abu Bakr (RA) leaving my place. 'Umar (RA) said: If you already came, then you beat me to it again.
